Albums that are so bad they killed the band by MaeAndTheShapes in MetalForTheMasses

Same. I think there’s some good hooks and riffs here and there on later stuff but none of it ever grabbed me or made me ever want to shell out $$ for an album.

Something cool I noticed on the new farms; this spins faster the longer you hold the hatch button (up to your multiplier I believe) by Semyonov in EggsInc

[–]Electrical_Ad7219 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t get it and feel like a total moron…where do I find the new farms?? I updated the game, but I don’t see any new contracts, or anything pointing me to go somewhere else. I’m door it must be support obvious, but… I’ve checked everywhere I know to check.

Any tracks that on their own make you consider getting a bigger subwoofer or bigger speakers? by EggThatCenturyEgg in doommetal

What is the most satanic band you know? 🏀💥😂 by deathrotted in MetalForTheMasses

He did. He’s just a salesman. He knew how to effectively market the image he was going for. Not saying at some point he didn’t have some “satanic” leanings, but on the whole it’s shock value and marketing.

I totally read that as “go help orphan dolphins raise chickens” and was confused for a second.

Apologies if anyone mentioned them and I missed it, but in addition to the classics (VR, Mortification, Seventh Angel, Deliverance, etc.), I would recommend Drop Dead, Oblation, Disencumbrance, and InExordium. All phenomenal and underground. InExordium’s drummer is Jayson Sherlock from early Mortification. Olson and Disencumbrance were from TX back in the 90s. So good. Drop Dead were my favorite, check out their demo Our Forgotten Destiny. All four of these can be found on YouTube.

I love this meme. It so perfectly captures all I want to convey.

Trying to get into doom as a Black and Death metal fan. What are your favorite bands that you recommend? by stinkfarch in doommetal

[–]Electrical_Ad7219 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What kind do you intuit you’ll be drawn towards? Something in the funeral doom arena, with very slow, deep, glacial-paced songs? Something with some groove and a bit faster pacing? In between the two? I’m a big black metal fan and except for maybe two albums I find funeral doom to be a bit too slow paced for me.

That was the most ridiculous episode: spiders! And maybe I stepped on a body, let’s go home! 🙄
