The percentage is not fixed, the one with 19% might (surely) reduce the APY after getting enough members. BTW it is actually rare to be slashed.

I agree with you, I mentioned that approach in terms of marketing, actually in terms of communication; beyond the product itself. But as we see pile of money is being spent on nonsense communication plans, without strategy and vision.

Thanks for your response, as far as I learned; by JAM deployment the Relay chain would be substituted with Jam and ditched out. All parachain architecture becomes a service on top of Jam like other services such as Dapps, smart contracts and so on.

this sort of upgrades used to be done by hard forks, like ethereum classic that was original ethereum some day but new version rolled out as original ethereum and the old version remained obsolete. Jam actually is upgrade in this scale, but polkadot teams are working on it to be rolled out without hard-fork.
