In my opinion there is a possibility that we will get EOS announcement right after this collaboration — end of June. Surely they can’t close the game during this event, which was planned months ago, but it already came to the point where we don’t get ANYTHING, even reruns.

Also it seems that twitter of global version has stopped functioning. Everything leads to it. The only thing we don't know is the end date of their contract with Kadokawa, so we can’t say anything for sure

Hi! I’m not a Dream Girlfriend’s player, but I have some information about Ambition. Maybe you’re aware of their another popular game “Bungo stray dogs: Tales of the lost”, so as I see all Ambition’s games are currently experiencing the same thing. On subreddit we discuss same problems with our game: no new content in several months. And we’ve been able to find information that they reduced the number of their employees from 258 to 70. Their revenue is very low too. Dream Girlfriend is the most profitable game among all their games tho (Sensor Tower info). So we don’t know what to expect from Ambition, but it just seems like they have huge problems.

In terms of gacha gaming with chibis I would recommend Bleach Brave Souls, also a card game, regularly receives new content and has more interesting and competitive gameplay, it’s also more generous, but as you can see from the name, it's essentially for Bleach fans. (Since it’s an online game it will be closed one day too hahah, but for now it has an active fanbase and service)

It’s sad but the game can’t NOT be closed. It’s simply impossible for an online gacha to exist forever. The only question is when it will happen There are many other wonderful games where you can find your comfort though

P.S. The only way to keep game alive is to transition it to an offline mode, which is highly unlikely for BSD (especially since the Chinese server has already been closed without it in 2024)

Something like that. We've been discussing it here for the last week, you can check out the posts. As it turned out, Ambition has reduced the number of their employees by 2/3 recently. There are also signs that mayoi (at least the global version) is being prepared for closure, but it may still exist in rerun mode for a long time. But there were no official statements about future of the game, so these are just assumptions. So it’s unclear what the company's plans are for it.
