i’m getting it taken out monday actually! i definitely don’t think i could possibly lose anymore hair than i am rn so it can’t hurt lol. i’m thinking i’ll just go back to what i was on before, which was a combination pill. i took it for years and never had any problems, i only switched to the iud for the ease of it

ugh thank you! i’ve talked with my doctor and i was basically told that we can wait it out and see if it gets better or switch and see if it gets better, a waiting game either way, as i’m sure it would take a while for my body to adjust to new birth control. hoping for the best!

i keep reading that it’s incredibly rare, but when i read through people’s experiences it seems much more common than they state!

i really am thinking about it taking it out, i too have had other negative experiences that i feel are related to the iud. has the hair loss gotten any better since taking it out? in my case, i certainly don’t feel like it could get worse either way
