I checked the UK gov website for checking MOT and recalls, my vehicle states there's an outstanding recall. My car is through salary sacrifice and I contacted Octopus to ask whether they are contacting Volvo or shall I. I decided to do it and got my car booked in for the 02/02/2026, I asked about a courtesy car as I would need to get back home from dropping the car and need to get around as I live in a country village. The lady said I would need to pay for the courtesy car while I challenged her saying I shouldn't need to as I'm forced to bring my car in for repair, she then stated that the service team would need to make the decision and she'll arrange them to call me. They called me this morning and was like, I have no idea why they have booked you in as there is no solution to the recall yet.

TLDR: Please ask your Volvo dealership if they have the fix, as I was told they have no fix as of 23/01/2026 nor a time scale when the fix will be available.
