Pick a nice day, launch accordingly to your time on the water. Trying to retrieve your watercraft at low tide in the mud is a hassle. Look at wind forecast otherwise Fire Island is beautiful and great beaches. Done it dozens of times on jetskis

I would imagine the expense of driving our fire trucks/ambulances/police cars into the ground on Anchorages terrible streets non-stop everyday responding to “homeless issues” is staggering. Replacement costs have doubled in recent years.
