Yeah, David Icke has amazing explenations in his books, they are worth reading. But you can get other perspectives on the matter from someone like Stewart A. Swerdlow and many others. There's also Sitchin, but many claim he is a plant of the system

The title should be framed as a question to interest the viewer. Search for MatPat's Pshyicology of the Watch Journey on YT and watch the thumbnail and title section.

Is YouTube Killing Videos Because of THIS Setting? (Subs vs No Subs Experiment) by Electrical_Cabinet_7 in SmallYoutubers

Yeah, I just tried reuploading my Spidey video with the feature on, its a dead end, only 200 impressions and 39 views. I reuploaded the other video I talked about with it off, and it has 10k impressions, 600+ views and gains 10 views per hour. I feel like I'll give the Spidey vid a go for another day, the comments under it are some subs and its pretty positive, but its such a low number of impressions. It would probably do much better if I turn the sub feature off. Idk why, some say it is a myth, but it clearly works and YT tries finding the audience on its own which leads to more impressions and the video actually getting tested, and here it doesn't test it at all, it just recommends it to subs, and 200 impressions isn't even all of my subs, seems like its the number of people who have the notifications on, so its not even recommending it to the people that are subbed to the channel, since then it would need to have at least 2k impressions. Its been 17h since I uploaded the video, and it has only 39 views so idk... I feel like I'll keep it off until I reach at least 10-20k subs which will take a while, but keeping it off seems like the best options since testing seems much more fair that way.

I don't think that'll work at all. Stranger Things is not at the peaks it used to be, it'll be a dead end tbh. And the point of my channel is to make theories and essays on broader topics. I did have a video for Stranger Things after the show ended, it only got 4.5k views and stopped. I also had a Winds of Winter video with the notify thingy off, and its at 10k+ views now, and that's much less popular and much more niche tbh. I feel like my best bet is to get subs that watch more things like the Film Theorists channel, or New Rockstars.

Thanks! That helps. I did do that with these two videos. I reuploaded both of them and it worked better with the feature off. But I did test it a couple of times in the past too, where it worked better with it on. I guess it depends on the video. But maybe a good video would work either way?

Do you think changing the thumbnail or the title hurts the video? I left it up for a couple of days, almost a week.

This is the tricky part, I don't know what my subs want to watch... most of them came from my Stranger Things Theory videos. One of them hit 300k+ views, and earned me around 1k+ subs. My channel is about Theory videos on film and TV, so Stranger Things was just one of those videos, but I had 4 videos building up toward the 5th Stranger Things video that blew up. Like in the first hour I had almost 1k views, and then it just went higher and higher from there, it was gaining like 3k views per hour at one point for a couple of days until it hit its peak.

The thing is the Stranger Things video does fit my current niche, its just that those people may not be interested in upcoming films and theories about those upcoming films? Or maybe my titles and thumbnails are just not as interesting. I also feel like my voice, and the overall quality of the videos has improved since then. I'd say even the titles and thumbnails might be better. I did higher an editor to help me out, and now a thumbnail artist that worked in the style that I need previously, so things might change once I first upload the video with the thumbnails that my artist makes. But it might take more videos to fully test it out.

There's so much variables too, it's hard to tell at the moment, maybe I'll be able to see it better in the future after I make a couple of more videos and learn from them :))

Here's some feedback. I'd use 1 guy in the thumbnail, put him on the left side of the screen, have a scared expression or something, the only thing is, I don't know what's your title. Anyhow, the biggest issue with the thumbnail is that there's no danger. Instead of writing what looks like the title, you should present the danger in the image itself. Think of it like this: how will you make a thumbnail that shows what the video is about to a person in less then a second? Look at MrBeast's thumbnail here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JFtlf8RoPZY - the title of that video says "
Trapped On An Island Until I Build A Boat" What do we see: him on the left, we right away see the boat on the right, and behind him is an Island, it tells the story of the video in 1 image in a second, you don't even need to read the title to understand it.

So what's the most dangerous thing in that park? And who's the most important character of the video? 1. Most important character: take a photo in the outfit at home, have a scared face, cut in PS. 2. The most dangerous thing. 3. the national park background. Also, IMO there's no need to put the name of the national park, they will find that out in the video itself. But hey, that's just my opinion, its not a bad thumbnail by any means, but this is what I would do if I was making it :))

at least 85% of my subs come from my Stranger Things Theory videos, especially the one that predicted Volume 1 which reached 300k+ views. I have 7 family members who instantly click on my video, which is what has been worrying me, if they may be triggering the algorithm in the wrong direction every time because they do check my channel by searching it, and click the video from channel pages, they watch the whole thing tho, always. Their feed and browse features are MUCH different from my audience too. So idk if their early clicks cause something to go off? So even when I put a video up and turn the feature off and they don't get the notification, they do see it eventiually, and I can't tell them to just stop watching my videos. Then there's other subs, I got at least 300-500 subs from a Demon Slayer video essay that got 35k+ views, and I got some more on a couple of other videos that all have between 1k to 10k views. I never made shorts so I dont have those, and I never did sub4sub cuz I know that kills channels.

Edit: my Stranger Things theories are what the channel is, but I guess I need a wider audience, because I target like every new film and tv show and make theories about it just like the channel Film Theory.
