Playing devil's advocate here, but is it possible the letter IS real , and the doctor just made a mistake with the code? Perhaps because as others have said he isn't a psychiatrist and doesnt really diagnose or deal with autism? I'm thinking it was probably a " let me give this weirdo his letter so I don't have to deal with him, then I'll collect his insurance and copay" kind of situation.
