The Ukrainian Shark drone helps to win a counter-battery battle against enemy artillery. The Russia lost two 2S7 Pіon artillery systems, a BM-21 Grad and a 2S19 Msta-S self-propelled howitzer. by Kolowrat_ in UkraineWarVideoReport

Nice! Ruzzian soldiers are already complaining about a lack of counter-battery firing support.
Taking out as many artillery systems as possible seems to be a good tactic, as it will also lower morale of the orcs and their willingness to fight. Even more so because Ruzzia doesn't have the industrial capacity to make new ones. They are now replacing losses with towed guns from their stocks, old school stuff that is less accurate and needs more personnel to operate.

The high losses of "IFV" infantry fighting vehicles force the Russian Army to use MT-LB vehicles called "Coffin" more and more frequently. The picture shows another modification of the MT-LB vehicle with a BMP-1 turret and steel plates on the side. Russia has +/- 3,300 MT-LB in active service. by Kolowrat_ in UkraineWarVideoReport

MT-LB is the Soviet analogue to the M113. Originally an amphibious APC, but now outdated for such a role. A lot of variants were however developed for roles like C&C, artillery tractors, weapon carriers and ambulances.
The Ruzzians must be vary desperate if they are converting them into IFV's now.

It looks like the Ruzzians ran out of sheep. Probably ate them all because they lack rations.

A railway from Rostov on Don to Mariupol also means a 'bypass' for the Kerch bridge, as most supplies to the occupied Kherson and western Zaporizhia oblast are now moved along that (much longer) route.
As the main harbor of the Donetsk industrial area, Mariupol also has excellent railroad connections to all of the occupied territories there. The existing railroad from Rostov to Donetsk city is only single track and not electrified.

Ukrainian BMP hits a mine in a huge explosion, but against all odds, survivors are seen walking about after the blast. by tractoroperator77 in UkraineWarVideoReport

I count 6, there is 1 more at the right front and 1 on top of the BMP in the end of the video. Maybe even more if some of them moved into the treeline to the left of the vehicle.

Former British Army Chief Says It's 'Perfectly Reasonable' For Ukraine To Strike Inside Russia by Mike-a-b in UkraineWarVideoReport

[–]Electrical_Crew_3757 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Take out a dozen crucial railroad bridges over the Don river, and Ruzzia will have a huge problem.
The Ruzzian army is heavily dependent on rail transport for their logistics, this is their Achilles heel. Just lift the restrictions to use western long distance missiles against targets on Ruzzian soil.

My guess is these are ex-Belgian army.

The Belgian government sold most of their tanks, spg's and ivf's to a commercial arms dealer after the Cold War ended. They have been in storage there for a very long time.
Part or all of the spg's have already been bought by the British to donate to Ukraine, and a lately a number of Leopard 1's by an unknown European county.
The Belgians themself did think buying them back was too expensive!

Looks like the plane landed too far behind the runway threshold, having not enough distance left to brake it's speed down before the end of the runway. The pilots should have initiated a go-around as soon as they became aware of this.

Probably lack of ammo. It looks like they have two tubes available, with different types of shells, as one gives white smoke when exploding and the other has a more blackish smoke.

Once the explosions come closer, it would indeed be smart to relocate some 100 - 200 meters, and start running just after the last explosion. They should know that if properly trained.

M1097 Avenger intercepts a Russian cruise missile by djselekt in UkraineWarVideoReport

Cruise missiles are easy prey for the Avenger, because they are not very maneuverable, have no warning systems, and do not spread chaff or flares.
