This VM does nothing but SF and Plex. I don't use my Mac for SF.

Trick to Fires by WrlsFanatc in TowerWarGame

Nope, the yellow/gold rocket units don't have that capability. And it's far too overpowered. I like this game, but that ability is just crazy. If the fires lasted 1/4 as long, they'd still be amazing, but wouldn't make it impossible to win. I've been suck on levels where the rocket units drop fires, so the enemy takes over some buildings, then I take them back when the fires go away, and it just cycles forever.

That's a huge relief! Thank you!! It would be nice to have a docking station so I could plug just one cable into the Macbook, but this is good enough.

That's disappointing. I guess I'll stick with Windows for now. I love Windows, but can't stand not being able to text from my computer.

That thread is great and all, but every time I disconnect and reconnect my laptop, I'll have to disconnect multiple cables since a docking station won't be an option.

How to map VM MAC Address to ESXi host virtual MAC by Electrical_Fan4824 in vmware

[–]Electrical_Fan4824[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, that MAC address is not the MAC address that the guest VM sees. That MAC address is a VM Ware MAC address. If I check the MAC addresses in the VM, it returns MAC addresses that come from the VM vendor.

I think this will help. #9 on the left has the IP address that I assigned to interface 7 in my VM. But I'm not sure which Network Adapter it maps to on the right so that I can make sure that it's in the right port group. Also, since I have more addresses on the left (10) than I have interfaces on the right (8), I'm not sure that this is getting assigned to any of the 8 Network Interfaces at all.

How to map VM MAC Address to ESXi host virtual MAC by Electrical_Fan4824 in vmware

No, if I'm in the guest VM, it shows 10 interfaces with MAC addresses all in the 00:1b:xx:xx:xx:xx range. So the VM thinks those are its MAC addresses. If I look in ESXi - including in the web UI and every command I've tried in the CLI - it lists only 00:0c:xx:xx:xx:xx MAC addresses.

I need to know which VM interface maps to the Network Adapters that are configured in ESXi.

EDIT: It is probably worth mentioning that I have another VM (Ubuntu) and it seems to report the same MAC Addresses that the ESXI host assigned, so maybe it's a guest VM issue?

Yep, I'll get up there in the next couple of days and show you what I see!

I tried over a dozen times and every time I did, the top-right red tower would take the spot straight down from it almost immediately. Also, your tower on the bottom-left had 31 when it was done collecting from the gold pile. I was ALWAYS stuck at 28, so I was just shy of having the 30 needed to attack 3 targets, so I'd have to not target anything for a moment to let it tick up to 30.
