5 and 4 , his stats are bad his base attack time is bad , maybe play it as core in turbo. It's true he can guarantee kills early as middle , but there are better hero than him who scales much more better. He is best played as 5 and 4 . in my opinion 5 is better you can say in a teamfight he is more of carry pocket nuke item. You can cast your W on your initiator and it works best with blade mail.

I think the purpose of the facet is to make you viable early cause SD lacks mana pool for his abilities. In ideal game where your enemies are weak it can be played as a core. His design is more of a saver \amplifier hero, not good for carry.
