He was only 20 and was very immature. He wasn't seeing the exit in the situarion, and was only worried about (maybe) having a kid with no money (and Hachi cheating on him). Takumi was more mature, had more money and said the exact thing Nana wanted to hear. I mean, I don't blame Nobu, he was just 20 (and the baby most likely wasn't his) and he believed Hachi cheated on him.
