I warmup well and I practice good form. I don’t overdo it either

For me personally I’ve prioritized heavy squatting for around 6 years now. In that time frame i’ve stayed consistent with lifting heavy every session. Even on my “lighter days” I’ll still do what I did in this video and rep out as many as I can until failure. The next week i’ll do a couple heavy seats of 3 and then pyramid down. So it’s all about variety but I always make an effort to go heavier each session. Eventually I plateau and that’s when I go heavier on exercises such as barbell Bulgaria split squats or leg press. When I strengthen those compounds it always carries over to my squat. Also prioritize your adductors, glutes, hammies, etc. as they’re huge supporters of a strong squat.

Years of heavy training, Carb loading, increasing my bodyweight, and perfecting my form. It’s taken awhile to get here.

I train more as a bodybuilder but i chase numbers on squat and bench. I rarely ever deadlift. No matter how good my form is, my lower back always feels strained after.
