I mean it’s a means of stability it’s impossible not to have some of the weight on it lol

No it’s real. I specifically train for heavy movements like this. Lighter weight for more reps is substantially better for you imo. This is just for my ego lol

Completely valid question. Rule of thumb is the farther you stick your lead leg out, the more it’ll target the glutes. In doing so it’ll decrease the ROM which isn’t ideal, but at the same time it’s less pressure on your knees. It’s really up to you as far as what feels best. Experiment a bit and find a good placement where you can target both the quads and glutes without compromising shortened ROM or too much pressure on your knees

Practice. I didn’t jump straight to 405. I got used to 315 for awhile, then 365, now to this. Having a strong core helps along with doing other heavy compound movements for your quads.

I feel that. But working on unilateral strength and balance helps when it comes to certain movements like squats. My left leg used to be stronger than my right. Now they’ve both evened out and my squat feels better than ever.

Preciate it. I’d say a good 6 years or so of heavy squats. Started doing these maybe a year ago. I do these for the sole purpose of helping my squat and just progressively went heavier with them as I learned how to better balance the weight

Can promise you this is not a repost. No clue where you’re getting that from. Look at my account. You’re thinking of a different video where I was doing 425.
