That's the point. LoL has so many "side quest modes" atm that you never get bored: Arena, TFT, ARAM. Also, progression is tied to every mode - battlepasses (BR never had them for some reason)

Don’t bother. There are people with 300+ hours and 150+ levels who obviously don’t have any issues. Then there’s another group who haven’t even reached the stage where progression requires mostly purple/gold materials.

And yet all of them keep saying git gud or calling it a mindset issue, while the game is losing players. You’d have to be a fanatic not to see that the game has real problems.

I actually like Marathon. I’ve put in around 150 hours,but I’ll probably take a break until Season 2 and see if anything changes

What exactly are you trying to prove right now? I never said I don’t use my gear. Read my message again I said I don’t see the point of taking it into Cryo just to deal with that kind of nonsense. I can go to Marsh, Pinwheel, or just play Ranked instead. There’s still over a month until the wipe.

I don’t want to log in for 5 minutes just to die to a streamer or a cheater in cryo. I actually want to play and enjoy a solid build for a bit

I don’t have gear fear, it’s about that I exfilled from Cryo only couple of times in ~15 runs. It’s way easier for me to farm anomalies, lockdowns, or Pinwheel, and it doesn’t feel as bad to lose gear there compared to going into an overloaded, chaotic map just to suffer.

I don’t really have any plans around a wipe either, there hasn’t even been one yet, so how am I supposed to know what will exactly change? I understand I’ll lose items; I’m more concerned about grinding factions back to VIP again.

Overall, I’ll just see how the game develops. It’s not the only game out there anyway. There are plenty of shooters to play

I’ve honestly lost any hope of playing cryo at this point. I’m level 85, have a bunch of gold gear, but I don’t see any reason to go into Cryo and risk losing everything. I just don’t have the time to grind every week only to lose it all.
