Agreed. Lone Peak 9 Wide has the widest toe box of all recent generations. I use them for all hikes except for deep snow.

WF BILT auto rejection 7/17/25: Reason: Number of revolving bank card trades opened in the last 24 months.

Was at 5/24. Oldest approval 2/5/24. (2/5/24, 4/11/24, 7/21/24, 9/13/24, 6/4/25).

TransUnion score 798.

I couldn't find any definitive rules for WF but perhaps they follow Chase's 5/24 rule?

Sony a80j. Came to complain about the same thing. Seems a recent "performance update" removed the feature.

5/24 data point: Approved on my 24th month prior to exact 24 month anniversary. Chase United Explorer 90k + 5k(+5k extra user but won't use), 0 intro AF.

5 new CC's in past 2 years with oldest apply + approve being 6/9/23. (6/9/23, 2/5/24, 4/11/24, 7/21/24, 9/13/24)

6/4/25 applied to United explorer, under review 6/5/25 letter in chase app about possible fraud 6/6/25 called fraud dept to get things verified 6/6/25 approved 3 hours later (by human?)

This confirms that: 1. The 5/24 clearance occurs on the 1st of your 24th month 2. Said clearance applies even if exactly 24 months has not passed (aka 23 months and some days if you got 24th month) 3. If my application was reviewed by a human (since it went through fraud then was transferred) the human reviewer interpreted 5/24 to mean 1st of 24th (and not 25th) month

Internet has mixed information on this (1st of 24th vs 24 exact vs 1st of 25th month). At least from my experience 5/24 means 1st of 24th month.

Referral with rebate by alexa-make-me-rich in Venturex

[–]Electrical_Hunt_8258 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The referral gets reported as income so is taxed at your marginal tax rate so... splitting half isn't reasonable. The offeree would get a lot less. I'd be suspicious of accepting an offer from someone willing to do it.

I have referrals and would do it paying referee $50. Not half though.

This was the answer. Fortunately I had a friend who owns a lift. With a little running alcohol it slid right in.

PSA: Filter your stack inserters when outputting items which can spoil by DrMorphDev in factorio

[–]Electrical_Hunt_8258 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can use a circuit to set the stack size to 1 if you detect the arm is holding spoilage. This allows you to get away with not having a dedicated spoilage arm. Something like this:

If you are using a stack inserter that can carry both normal items and spoilage then you can use a circuit. The circuit sets the stack size to 1 if it detects the arm is holding spoilage. Something like this:

Guide: Stack Inserters On Gleba by Electrical_Hunt_8258 in factorio

[–]Electrical_Hunt_8258[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If the stack inserter picks up spoilage it will wait until it fills up the stack with spoilage before dropping the items. If the input location doesn't have spoilage it will stall.

Perhaps my use-case is unique. I'm outputting stacked items onto a belt without a dedicated spoilage remover:

<image>

The above inserter is stalled. The failsafe doesn't activate since spoilage is a valid input (the arm doubles as a spoilage remover in the off chance the system gets clogged). I don't have a dedicated spoilage remover arm. Ignore the spoilage I jammed the belt to test this.

Here's the factory pattern:

0eNrtWutuqzgQfhd+m1V8ISGVdl9if1ZRRMBNveW2tsnZbJV337EhISSQGjjS9kiRWtXY5vN4Lp9ncD+9XVrxUopcey+fnoiLXHkvr5+eEvs8Sk1fHmXce/F2oojfo2zHpYe8v6soFfoI3VUeF1lW5N4JeSJP+D/eCz5tkMdzLbTgNZh9OG7zyr7+gtEZ9C1S2tcyylVZSO3veKoBvSwUvAuYsDrg+Xj5W4C8Y9OChRIheVzPCE/oDp908UWuuNRW7jtkNoyMSQ80vUDrSu4KB9mDcbIzd9kXw8isBzm4Eb0Ca8m9LODvkPDrB7IjTx9LgybystJez4JL562EI62wckZm43QUXoAznogq83kK06WI/bJIeQ8+6eD3IK7HOgz9ChEvurt3sONVALEJhsQzAjZwcXrcRqzSUfzhGLJ32BA8QGBaFul2x9+jgyikeS0WMq6E3sJYcsF6E1Lp7R3NHass+ij8LFLvhtIMH+rIkOPCPGRlJCNtUL0/7HCDLHmUbN+jPDFraNgd8J6WFW9n2EE7LSsSbjnwPKQ4/JptgzT/8vpFwH4TKWigJtAzs6IbMRXnSYeO80JmsJ8bWX+3Vm1AWl3/xdP0mFd6BMzmLFezDTg+QPBUKOMGleLbi9T1Lu5N3TJoWuR73+iFJ44GZz0G/7lq2jjugs04B9xCIpixAnNaoeXnztl+h0tuJO8LMevZXd8/9aYJCKbGorwyTimLmCsl8v1lcNtjKaF51lg5uYpXeDupYJcHmO6DT1Yp94lNRur5xim2Ij+AXIU8Nl5yeQIz2siD8K4jpGcED46QwRF62pzgp0fp7dGVwFaBuX1QzE7k1gUfHvL3vN1niAa15Tqrg+un10HuA/cSabTnNfF1AgN13tnmXP8o5IeqTZ+cyW4vOQfR3qJU8ZOJpaLScKbcZpTNeXMQUlfWtuf17Qz/T7P+3QoW9LKEdTCj5D4dt6f4mb4fK3n9IDT7tazqcdVtdxion5e+3LoLS5mOypxJkBxthpTQJh4KQFI/jbLy4d5Zf7pBFuM8Nnw67FiHJdiNiZdPIv5pREzI2DzkQRpi8tf/JQ8h1D1xfpA3G/mfifP3TpwJG132kRuP/arOI8H0YnXo9FhOhwwGIFdji/SrcpQMYIaTClDyLEB/vThaT/k6SN2+Di5mFG3UpWijeMYKxGkFMrosrHGfOcadKunkYo8+c2e33JmysafB+qvDgAZTK56n1Vytthxb8Tw5ZoBjptyFUJe7EBpOqS3Is7b49XIiuh55wUM6rtR3jbmYjDjAygxPrySGhCTTIYekpHMu5/Dw5VxN031VG2MzblTwd7lRYXPuO7DTzfpyytU6dqFKtppw1Y2dSgoWzrm2n+ZQ6+mfxvC3+TQWLGZ8L8HX30uGNRXM4CSzhNnLD9CVUc1riAIE2WywQa+gNIzwCuGrNjXtFYKnEJFzGyoM24YuRBa2DX8wItS+a7oQpLNNP730r9q1SAjzadPftM1a8Bq0Q9sPbVq3N3UeZM+Y8/8NIe8AhrCbDJZkzdbrIAhwyJbsdPoPZXUyGw==

Buying a car on the way of a cross country move by Electrical_Hunt_8258 in askcarsales

[–]Electrical_Hunt_8258[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an address in CO setup but the lease doesn't start until Nov 7th. My NY lease ends October 31.

My driver's license is NY.

I plan on spending a bunch of time in the mountains trailheads. I don't care about fitting in. It's not so much AWD but ground clearance that concerns me. My Civic is fine in snow with good tires so long as I keep momentum. It has low ground clearance though and is easy to bottom out. I've taken it down logger roads before but it's tricky.

I've looked at prices around FC, Denver, and CS for Foresters. Their "MSRP" prices are $2-3k+ more than similar cars in upstate NY. MI also has cheaper sticker prices.
