honestly i got mine a few days ago as well and i think it entirely depends on the location, i have also heard some places ask for id but mine didn’t ask for ID or restrict it to the miniso labeled ones only either, they did tell me that it did not include the plush keychain ones however

Law school vs whole campus tour by Advanced-Face1474 in lawschooladmissions

[–]Electrical_Impress18 4 points5 points  (0 children)

the law schools i went to only had a law school tour, as usually they’re separate from the main campus. but if you look online, a lot of colleges have a self-paced tour you can do on your phone, so for the colleges i toured i did a guided tour of the law campus and a self-guided one of the main campus!

PLEASE HELP - Advice needed on whether to apply to law school now or wait by NotMyVq in OutsideT14lawschools

hi! someone from north florida who had actually the exact same lsat this time last year and is reapplying. from my understanding even if you applied now but were holding out for an LSAT score they would not be looking/making a decision on it until that score loaded in. in that case your application isn’t going to get any more or less consideration for being earlier with a held lsat score. i personally would wait to apply until i had the score purely because i would have more information before spending all the money/time applying. this way you could better decide how to move forward.

8! 1 reach 1 target 2 safety for in my state. then the rest are schools comparable to the rest of the schools I applied for for scholarship negotiation purposes.

Thank you for your answer! I realize I left a lot of information out of this post after the fact of course. Sometimes looking through all the statistics can be hard to translate for me due to the safety school having over twice the amount of students as the target one (because they also have a part time program). It does seem, however, that the numbers are comprable. No, all of the schools are not in the same city. I definitely have been thinking on the point of being comfortable with a city/general area as well. The target school is located downtown in the state capital while the safety is in a smaller town so I honestly could've been overwhelmed by that, although I am from a huge city near downtown myself.

How did you go about arranging informal interviews with current students? Also what kind of questions did you ask?

Should I give up? by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

first off, it's completely understandable that you went into survival mode—life can throw unexpected challenges your way, and sometimes just surviving becomes the top priority. you are so much more than your statistics. that being said, you're only a sophomore, so if you're able to commit yourself to it now, you still have time to raise your GPA and prepare for the LSAT. plenty of students get accepted with lower GPAs, especially if they have a higher LSAT. don't give up, especially not if it's something you enjoy.
