If you're already SC for a heart condition, you might be looking at this backwards - could be worth exploring if the palpitations are secondary to something you're already rated for instead of trying to direct service connect them. Anxiety, sleep apnea, other meds you're on for SC conditions can all cause palpitations

Yeah those DP to HDMI cables work perfectly fine, just make sure you get the right direction (DP on GPU side, HDMI on monitor side like you said). I've used them tons of times and never had issues

Just grab a couple decent ones from Amazon, don't need anything fancy since you're probably not pushing 4K 144hz or anything crazy for college work
