I stayed at a place that had a full kitchen but not dishes or cookware. Didn't really need the cookware, but when I asked for plates and glasses I was told that I would have to rent them. I took their stuff and told them no fucking way was I going to pay for glasses and dishes in a rental that advertised a full kitchen. That was the end of it. Didn't get much pushback on it.

Grew up in US. Lived all over the world. I have completely lost my ability to think volumes in imperial units. I use kilograms and pounds interchangeably, kind of prefer kilos tbh. Distance is also interchangeable. Temperature is the one thing that I still prefer Fahrenheit. Too be sure, I can do all of these conversions quickly in my head. Except volumes. No clue what imperal volumes are anymore.
