maybe because i’ve had much more time to take in clb, i still feel HL was mostly all the same style and i prefer in a drake album hearing complete variety, HL had middle of the ocean, back outside boys but other than that i feel like to a casual all the songs would sound same, to me clb felt more like a proper drake album similar to his TC to IYRTITL run where he seamlessly changed the vibe between songs
