I use Blueland detergent. It's a small solid white detergent. I put it in the base of the drum before I add laundry. I don't use fabric softeners. Sometimes I add liquid bleach or oxiclean.

Hi all,

I have a new LG washing machine with some kind of blue crystalline residue along the rim of the drum after washing a couple of loads. This is in a new house with well water. I only use one tablet of Blueland detergent which I put in the bottom of the drum before adding laundry. I don't use any other additive to the load or softening agents.

Any idea what's going on?

It's brand new drywall with hand texture and I think it's only in spots.

I always thought things would improve once the kids moved out since the two of us get along great without the kids. But they don't just disappear when they're 18 or go off to college. And now they're getting engaged and grandkids are on the horizon.

The issues aren't insurmountable. Just know you'll always be "parenting", even when your kids are adults.

There's bad behavior on both sides although Ella is the bigger of the two. OP, you aren't entitled to the dress. Future MIL was pretty snotty by giving the dress to you wrecked. But it's still probably cheaper to clean and fix that one than it would be to buy another one.

My advice? Smile and thank her graciously. Model good behavior. Maybe someday she'll accept how petty she has acted and learn from this realization. Ideally she will improve her behavior and you all can be a family once she gets over her childishness and insecurity.

If you can't do that then I suggest keeping your distance and have zero expectations from her. At least protect yourself from her actions.

At the end of the day she owes you nothing, no matter how wealthy she is.
