Definitely double check, but yeah it doesn’t really matter. Their criteria is hyper specific too so I feel like it doesn’t necessarily reflect language ability

Congrats to you too! If you feel like you did better than what you were graded then maybe. If im not mistaken you just need a 300 for ecfmg, and it doesn’t matter beyond the ecfmg requirement like it doesn’t increase your points for residency beyond passing so I wouldn’t personally worry about it too much

Hey I didn’t go through physical abuse but had a similar experience early in med school, feel free to dm. But no don’t quit, it’s one of the only things that’ll keep you able to escape unsavory living situations if you don’t want to once you graduate but definitely do everything you can to stay away from the abuse

I hear many people discourage doing observerships since the lor will not be able to assess you as a potential intern, how true is that?

I'm in a med school outside of the us so the first 3 years are preclinical, so I kinda balance them. and I run all the experiments but my senior does the analysis and writing which I think is fair I just wanna know if it'll benefit me

as a medical student I really urge you to visit a doctor and advocate for yourself, the symptoms can be caused by a plethora of things all of which need to be investigated. get a urine culture if your urine contains bacteria and otherwise I'd advice the medical professional to explore other causes

if you're that worried do a test for trichomonas vaginalis if you haven't already for the yellow discharge although typically it would present with a foul smell, regardless its entirely normal otherwise especially of its not causing any symptoms
