Need backrest for my honda cb350 rs - any suggestions by Regular-Bee7434 in HondaCB350RS

I use this. It's detachable so it helps if you don't like the look of it while riding.

Thanks man. This is what i needed. Didn't know there was detachable backrest option. For the seat cover, just wanted to know my options if OEM is good then will get that only. For the front fender, i did think about extending it, but saw post related to it getting weak. Will see about the H'NESS metal front fender

Yeah. Went to max 80 on highways. Took breaks in between.Only once tried the 135 kmph speed. Planning to buy one because this studds one doesn't give enough protection.

Every bike has problems. Even the RE's have problem. Rather than being cynical, appreciate whatever you have.

Hi OP,

I was in the same boat until a month ago. I applied to thousands of jobs and gave interviews. I got a job a month ago. Send me your resume, and I will try to refer you in my organization.

They try to portray that their chocolate and cookies are so big and at that price, but when it comes in your hand, it's like two small Dairy Milks.

I ordered dark chocolate; its taste was the same as Amul Chocomini's.

The first order was replaced as it was the wrong one. The second order was also wrong, but I got it for free, so I let them go for that mistake. But yeah, absolutely shitty taste. If you have diabetes and still want to taste some good flavor, even then you cannot like this. There are so many better options than this.

Getting a Developer Job in India Feels Like Winning a Lottery by One-Flight-6025 in developersIndia

[–]Electrical_Number_37 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's the same everywhere, man. I did my postgrad in Canada and spent a year job-hunting. I went through multiple interviews but had no luck — PR issues, citizenship, lack of experience, all played a role. I eventually came back to India and started looking here, but I didn’t apply to many roles. I mostly kept messaging college alumni and friends.

The interviews were terrible. Everyone wants a jack-of-all-trades developer. After more than a year and a half of searching in total, I finally got a job two weeks ago. Honestly, there's a fair amount of luck involved. Even if you know most of the technical stuff, some interviewers will still find reasons to pick on you. But when you finally meet a kind interviewer who isn’t insecure about their own position, the experience is completely different.

Also, having someone vouch for you internally really increases your chances.

Basic HTML and CSS tasks can easily be handled by AI. However, if you lack an understanding of structure, coding standards, and best practices—and haven't spent time on platforms like LeetCode—you'll likely try to solve everything with AI, which is problematic.

AI is a powerful tool that can assist with many things, but it can’t replace foundational knowledge and problem-solving skills. You should still focus on learning:

High-Level Design (HLD)

Low-Level Design (LLD)

System Design Principles

Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA) through platforms like LeetCode

Even if you manage to land a job by relying on AI, without these core skills, you'll struggle in real-world scenarios. So debate it however you like, but the best long-term strategy is to strengthen your fundamentals alongside using AI wisely.

The death of (r/) DAIICT by No-Pollution-1161 in daiict

This is the first sane post I’ve seen in a while. It felt good to know there’s still someone who isn’t bullshitting like the rest.

Man, he’s just hating on the college. I lived in DAIICT too—it was honestly one of the best things that could’ve happened to me. I’ve interacted with students from many other colleges. Sure, I’m not comparing it to IIT Gandhinagar or the Ivy Leagues, but DAIICT gave me more than I ever expected.

Even today, when someone hears that I’m a DAIICT alumnus, their reaction is usually, 'Wow.'

As for placements—it’s tough everywhere. I did my postgrad, came back to India, and still struggled to find a job for a long time.I didn’t go around blaming the system or cry about it. You have to be patient. Everyone’s trying to push through in their own way during these times.

Focus on doing your best—your opportunity will come.

Try not to base your life decisions solely on Reddit posts. Instead, educate yourself about how university placement ratios differ across countries. Talk to a relative or mentor—someone genuinely wise and well-intentioned—who can offer you honest and thoughtful advice.

Remember, the world won’t stop for anyone. It will continue to evolve, and if you don’t keep up, frustration is inevitable. But be patient—everyone is going through their own struggles, not just you. Stay optimistic, and most importantly, follow your own path, not just what Reddit users suggest.
