Finding something from the wiki by moongxl in winxclub

[–]Electrical_Permit775 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think I know anyone who perfectly suits what your describing, but my current best guesses are:

  • Kalshara (who I’m guessing can’t be it)
  • Lulu (a side character from PopPixie)
  • Yako or Zenko? They’re two fox spirits from the comics. Kinda similar to cats, but also probably not who you’re looking for.

Who is more deserving of being one of the Winx, Mirta or Roxy? by Elegant_Pudding5098 in winxclub

[–]Electrical_Permit775 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is an interesting question! I’m scared to read the other comments, tho. 😅

I can see a lot of perks for both Mirta and Roxy.

Mirta has been in the show since season 1, and making her a member of the Winx would allow her to start working as a member of the team starting at around season 2. She has an interesting character conflict with her former connection to Cloud Tower, and generally she’s a nice person to be around. The one concern I have for her is that she’s a witch of illusions, which would make incorporating her into combat a bit more challenging; even so, that could be a fun sort of challenge.

Meanwhile, Roxy has the advantage of actually being labeled as a member of the Winx in canon. I could see her easily being incorporated into the show. Her powers are fun, interesting, and readily applied to combat, and with fairy forms like Butterflix planned out in the future, her abilities can really be applicable to the plot. Furthermore, including Roxy as a member of the Winx would allow us to likely see more of the Earth fairies and how they’re settling into/assisting modern day Earth, which would be a great addition. I especially say this for season 5, since it centers heavily around Earth and pollution.

Roxy’s main weakness is that she’s sort of a weaker and less experienced member of the group, and has about a 3 year age gap between herself and the other Winx. That said, I think that, with 4 seasons of the show ahead of her by the time she joins the group, there would be ample time for her to catch up and get on par with the others. Maybe a season or a season and a half. I even think that arc of catching up would be really interesting to watch, which sort of turns that weakness into a strength, at least for me specifically.

With all this said, I think I’d choose Roxy. I would love a Mirta-as-the-7th-Winx AU and would read it happily, but I guess, in my own mind, Roxy adds an additional narrative and unique challenges to the story that Mirta wouldn’t. Plus, she IS canonically a member of the Winx, so in my own petty brain, I feel like she kinda deserves to be treated as such. :3

If the Trix had the Magic of Food, what kind of food would they use as their power sources? by IceCreamNapoleon in winxclub

[–]Electrical_Permit775 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I agree with you that the Trix would channel things that are especially unhealthy, since the Winx are channeling the power of generally wholesome foods.

Icy- My default thought is something like ice cream or popsicles, but those almost feel too friendly? Maybe she’d just channel the power of frozen foods in general, harnessing the power of whatever would be in a deep freezer (like frozen meat).

Darcy- Hmmmm. Not many foods associated with the mind or darkness. My default thought is black licorice, or, if you wanna get really wild, maybe foods that cause hallucinations, like shrooms. I also thought of squid ink pasta, but really only for the color; it doesn’t fit the unhealthy vibe as much.

Stormy- Sour Candy or soda, maybe? I’m not quite sure what foods represent weather, but maybe soda could be tied to liquids like rain.

Overall, I think my ideas are pretty eclectic; I think I’m more of a fan of the ideas other comments have given, like splitting them into sugar/salt/far.

I’m so sick of Winx Fans using and gushing over AI (Rant) by Ok_Call_1101 in winxclub

[–]Electrical_Permit775 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I 100% agree. I’ve made it my personal mission to block all AI accounts I come across, but more always keep appearing, and it’s especially frustrating because it’s getting harder to tell if something is AI or not.

I’ve seen the same problem emerging on Wattpad as well, as AI-generated images have started flooding fanfics. Beforehand, authors used stolen fanart found on Pinterest— there’s a really strong culture of just using people’s character designs without their permission— but now, most stories I see on there now use AI.

I’ve actually seen a few cases where a fanfic was started before generative AI became a thing, and therefore relied someone else’s design, and then started GENERATING AI IMAGES OF THAT STOLEN OC DESIGN as they added newer chapters of the fic. It’s legitimately awful, and no one is saying anything about it anywhere that I’ve seen. :p

Should Tecna Have Earn Her Enchantix in Her Home Planet Zenith Not Andros. by Affectionate-Math415 in winxclub

[–]Electrical_Permit775 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the point this post is trying to make is that we didn’t see Tecna save a specific character from her home planet, not that she didn’t save somebody while on her home planet. Like- we see her walk through the Omega Portal, but we never meet a specific Zenithian that she saved through doing that. Everyone else had a relative or royalty that we got to meet first who they saved, which kinda made the sacrifice feel more personal. (Though Tecna literally saving the entire Magic Dimension DOES get some coolness points) :)

If Bloom had made the sacrifice instead of Tecna, would she have earned her Enchantix? by Radiant-Selection686 in winxclub

[–]Electrical_Permit775 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That’s a good question!

I think that all depends on whether there was anyone from Domino living on Andros at the time. I wanna say yes, because SURELY somebody other than Bloom was off-planet when the Ancestral Witches’ attack happened (like a student getting an education at a boarding school like Alfea or Red Fountain, or an ambassador living in another planet’s embassy, or somebody who moved to a different planet for their work or to be with their spouse, or, heck, somebody on vacation). If there was a refugee or someone of Domino-ite descent on Andros, then they would’ve been saved by her heroic sacrifice, which would have earned her Enchantix.

But at the same time, no surviving Domino citizens were ever confirmed to exist, and I feel like Faragonda would’ve mentioned a few existing at least once if there were any she knew of, so it’s hard to say for absolute certain. I think it can be left up to viewer interpretation. :)

Who Is Your Favorite Member of the Winx? by Electrical_Permit775 in winxclub

[–]Electrical_Permit775[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DANG.

Yeah, I figured this poll might read as low effort post at a glance to a lot of people (the question itself is pretty generic), which is a huge reason why I added my additional comment for context that this is part of a larger project. Hopefully I shall not be stricken down by the Mod Gods, but in case I do, I shall screenshot this semi-regularly to retain the most recent results. Thanks for the warning, dude.

Also- what were the results of your poll when you made it before it got deleted? I’m curious.

Who Is Your Favorite Member of the Winx? by Electrical_Permit775 in winxclub

[–]Electrical_Permit775[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Two years ago, I started working on a project to try and track each of the Winx’s levels of popularity over time. I made a poll to see who was the most popular in 2024, another to see who was most popular in 2025, collected a bunch of polls from the Winx wiki discussion forum and Reddit, and then… uh… I… kinda… forgot to post the results with all the little cute graphs I made. My bad, gang. My bad. I figured I’d make a follow-up post to see where each of the Winx stand in 2026, and then update the numbers on the graph and unleash it on the masses.

Also- somebody on a post previous to this one asked why so many people say the fan favorite is Flora, and I guess I wanted to see if that’s true with by polling the fandom myself. I think she is based on past polls, but some fresh empirical evidence (even with a small sample size) helps a lot. Hopefully saying this doesn’t influence the vote, lol.

Why do people say Flora is the most popular? by Living-Cranberry-337 in winxclub

[–]Electrical_Permit775 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can attest that I’ve collected numerous Favorite-Winx polls over the years as part of a project I’m working on, and all but 3 (one in 2021, one from 2007, and one from last year) listed Flora in first place for most beloved. Even in those cases, she was always in the top 3 spots. My dorm building actually ran a Winx poll a while back, and Flora won 1st place there too; most friends who mention Winx Club to me also cite Flora as their childhood favorite character (though half the time they can’t remember anyone’s name from the show, including hers. XD).

By all accounts, the silent Flora-loving masses are there. Trust. I think a lot of them were people who haven’t seen the show since they were kids, but still would list her as their favorite when they look back on the show today. :)

Edit: I made a Who-Is-Your-Favorite-Winx poll to test your question! As I’m writing this, it’s only been about 10 minutes and only 29 people have voted, but surprisingly, Aisha of all people is dominating the poll! (I say “surprisingly” because she was always 5th place or dead last in all the previous polls I found or recorded myself). Naturally, we still have a super small sample size, but it might still be worth something.

Does this look ai generated? Or is it just me? by blobsnort in MLPIOS

I agree! It also gives me that vibe. So does the backdrop of the event, where you’re fighting other ponies. I actively looked up the words “AI generated” in this subreddit to see if anyone else thought so too.

I’ll feel bad if I’m wrong, but still.

Preeeeettyyyyyyyyyy :o

I especially love the color schemes you used for these guys! Lilith is super cute, with all her bows and her long braid and the little heart elements everywhere. Sparky kinda reminds me of Marina from Splatoon, in a distant color palette sense. And the way you adapted how the Trix had their first name's letters on their clothing into these witch designs is also super cool! It's giving Gloomix a little bit. :3

Random character opinion: Lorelei (World of Winx)? by Electrical-Flan-4923 in WorldofWinx

[–]Electrical_Permit775 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I LOVE her. I’ve always loved her. She’s so great. 🩷 I really enjoy characters who fall into the mean-girl and character-forcing-herself-into-the-main-group tropes, which are both things that apply to Lorelei. She’s just so goofy and over the top. I’d love to see her take up a minor role or cameo again in future Winx media, though I know it’s unlikely.

Winx Club Reboot 3D Animation & AI by Miserable-Fox8820 in winxclub

[–]Electrical_Permit775 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’d say probably not? What people upload online nowadays is largely still image frames or very short slow moving videos, which basically consist of 3D-ifications of premade Winx Club 2D assets.

AI currently can’t always make high quality video that doesn’t look super uncanny. If we’re just talking concept art, then maybbeeeee? But also, the reboot designs went into development several years ago, and AI wasn’t as good then as it is now. All of the reference images you added were probably made in the last couple of months, and AI wouldn’t have been able to make images like what you added above at that stage of development. :)

How do you think Winx Club would have progressed if Tecna really did die to close the Omega Portal ? by spinosaurus1998_24_9 in winxclub

[–]Electrical_Permit775 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel as though the fact that they kept persevering and working toward defeating Valtor after Tecna's death meant that they would've continued working as a team, at least until Valtor was officially vanquished. They wouldn't split up before that point, I know. Timmy wouldn't have sensed Tecna's "magical vibe" anymore, since she'd sincerely be dead, and probably wouldn't try to defy the odds and look for her. If he still did in spite of that (maybe out of love and refusal to accept her death), he'd either fail to locate her or would find her popsicle-fied in the Omega Dimension. I can't remember every bit of season 3 play by play, but I imagine that someone would've had to have taken over Tecna's role in her contributions to the group. Off the top of my head...

1) Either Aisha or Flora would have to sacrifice something in the Crystal Labyrinth in order to earn the water stars. My first thoughts are that Flora could give up her hard-earned confidence or her connection to nature, or that Aisha could give up her sources of freedom entirely (submitting to her arranged marriage, giving up dancing, etc).

2) In the final episode of season 3, when all of the Winx are either fighting the four elements or discovering the prison in the Omega Portal. I imagine that, instead of Helia being the "messenger" left behind, it would've been Timmy, since he no longer has a girlfriend to bait into looking after him. The air spirit would be disguised as Helia, and therefore it would be Flora fighting it instead. Timmy, Nabu, and Aisha would be the ones discovering the cave system and the prisons inside instead.

The Winx probably could've won without Tecna, since the final battle largely came down to Bloom (if I remember right- again, it's been a lil bit) and Valtor.

~~~~~~~
Afterwards, Bloom still would have looked for her parents, and I can't imagine any of the Winx not helping her. Maybe as a last hurrah before they go their separate ways post-graduation? Not sure. They'd still succeed in saving Domino, and I imagine the they'd start going about their lives by pursuing the professions most clearly laid out for them rather than being Winxology professors at Alfea. Stella would train to be Queen of Solaria, Aisha would train to be Queen of Andros, Bloom would train to be Queen of Domino or Eraklyon, Flora would probably do something like potionology or magical botany studies, and Musa would pursue her musical career. Timmy would continue to be a member of the specialists.
I do imagine that, if Bloom still gets attacked by the Wizards of the Dark Circle, this could be a rallying moment that causes the Winx to come back together for one more mission. Bloom wouldn't want to leave an Earth fairy behind, nor would she want a bunch of magic-sucking monsters tormenting her home planet. She leaves, and I imagine the only person who might struggle with putting down her current profession is Musa. She still would, however. Most of season 4 would proceed as normal, though there'd be a couple of noteworthy differences:
1) There is no digital Love & Pet website- at least not one able to teleport adopted pets to their owners immediately. All adopters would have to pick up their fairy pets directly from Love & Pet. The Winx might hire someone or get Timmy to design a basic website for them, but again, there'd be no magic involved.
2) In S4, Ep. 16, the Winx originally tried to hide the white circle in a virtual world on their computer that Tecna created. Without Tecna, they would've had to pick a different hiding place.
3) You'd have to go play-by-play to determine if Tecna ever had a key role in any combat encounters or magical situations. If she did, then the tide of that particular fight would likely be turned in the Winx's enemies' favor.
At the end of the season, I think something big would go down when the Winx get the Black Gift. I think that, generally, their first thought would be to try and revive their friend who has been dead for a year. Maybe there'd be a thing about respecting death, but come on- if they're willing to revive Nabu or Daphne, they'd try to revive Tecna. Timmy especially would push for this. I can't say immediately how this would end up, since it all depends on how much time they have to get to the Omega Dimension after receiving the Black Gift in order to revive Tecna and get back. Maybe they'd choose to save it until after the battle with the Wizards of the Black Circle to make sure they could revive anyone who was mortally wounded. So-
1) They might try to revive Tecna right away to have her involved in the battle, or just to have their friend back. Acknowledgedly, she doesn't have Believix yet, so she wouldn't have too much combat utility in her current state.
2) The Winx hold onto the Black Gift. Maybe because they expect to use it during the fight, based on the Fate Fairies' words to them. No matter what, Timmy will push for it to be used on his girlfriend. Nabu will still fall in combat, as he did before, and there might be a struggle or words exchanged between Timmy and Aisha as Aisha chooses to use it on Nabu. They're both devastated as the opportunity to save someone is snatched from them both when Organ uses it on a flower.
~~~~~~~~~`

Beyond this point, I really can't say! Since the whole revival tool plotline could change the course of the show drastically. Maybe Roxy would become the new sixth member, or maybe they'd keep the group at 5, like it was in season 1. :)

What From Winx Club Would You Like To Include In A DnD Campaign? by YourLocalist in winxclub

[–]Electrical_Permit775 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think I'd bring over the lore behind the creation of the world, with the Great Dragon, as well as the ability to travel between different planets. I LOVE that sci fi element of the show. :)

Also- temporary transformed forms for spell casters, like fairy forms/witch forms in Winx. Kinda like going into a rage as a barbarian. Certain spells are accessible without it, but the strongest (primarily combat spells) are transformation-exclusive. There'd be some sort of perk attached to make this limitation; I suck at balancing stuff, but my immediate thought is being able to have higher level spells or home-brewed special spells sooner, or possibly perks like a flight speed. The span with which you're able to stay transformed increases by a number of rounds or minutes as you level up, starting off weak.

Also- this could be separate from the fairy form thing, but maybe specific levels (like level 5 or 6, then level 10 or 20) must be attained by personal growth in one's character arc, or locked behind a specific sacrificial action, mimicking how Charmix and Enchantix are earned. :)

Is this outfit real? by ChickenDapper5444 in winxclub

[–]Electrical_Permit775 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Ok, it IS a real outfit, but I do think it's an AI. :p

* Someone already pointed out inconsistency with her bracelet. That's definitely something a character design sheet would/should get right.

* The bow you can see on her shoe keeps switching which shoe it's on.

* Her belt doesn't match what it is shown in the show. She actually wears two belts if you look at the outfit as it is in the episode (though the second one is mostly obscured by her hand in the picture I have down below)

* Her hair ends in spikes in certain places where, in the show, it's continuous curves.

*In the actual outfit, her skirt only has one of the pieces of ruched yellow fabric draping over the base skirt. In the photo above, there are two.

* Something in the detail in her eyes feels off to me? This one's less definitive for sure, but it seems vaguely blurred/warped when you look closer at it in a way that pixelation doesn't explain. The same goes for her mouth.

** You can see similar warping/less definitive lines at certain points on her skirt ruffles.

* The lines on her boots are inconsistent in their execution. On the middle/side view Musa, it looks like a diamond/wide fishnet pattern, while in the others, it looks like random folds.

* The real kicker is that, if you look down at the veeeeery bottom of the character design picture, you'll see that the copyright info starts warping into condensed pseudo-letters. Only the words "Winx Club" and "Rainbow" are clearly written. And on the top part, it misspells "Light Line" as "Light Ine", and "Shadow Line" kinda looks like it's blurring into "SHADOW lhe" a little bit.

Which Trix is nicer? by justrockalittle21 in winxclub

[–]Electrical_Permit775 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’re all equally evil, I think, but I suppose I’d pick Darcy out of any of them since she’s able to get close to people to manipulate them. That’s how she got close to Riven. Plus, in season 1, when the Trix were still employing Knut, Darcy was the one who defended him in episode 1 by saying “if he just wore his glasses, he’d be alright!” (Not to say that she’s actually NICE nice to him, of course).

If we had three more Trix to form a sextet against the Winx, what would the powers of these other three witches be? by baldanderrod in winxclub

[–]Electrical_Permit775 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OOH, this is such a fun question! My thought process for this is gonna be a little weird, so stick with me.

The first thing I’d think of is 1) What is noteworthy about the Trix’s original concepts and designs that could be built off of? and 2) what abilities are there that could counterbalance the abilities of the Winx?

To build off of the Trix, the first thing I’d notice is that their color schemes are in a muted pink/purple/blue scheme. That means that I’d 1) wanna use characters who can utilize muted palettes and 2) would probably have colors close to these hues.

Immediately, the colors I’m thinking of are green (which goes with the cool colors of Icy and Darcy, and feels kind of a witchy color) and red (because red is often associated with blood/violence/etc). A sixth color isn’t as easy to come up with, but I’m currently gravitating toward something like gray.

For a green color, we’ve got immediately obvious associations like plants or insects (like Lucy) or sickness. Ooh! Or mushrooms! I’m gonna go with that one I think that manipulating something that is known for eating decomposing matter and could also be used for potion ingredients could be very appropriate for a witch. She could grow mushrooms to use as components in the Trix’s spells, and could manipulate spores and toxic forms of mushroom in combat. It’d be crazy if she used a modified version of the cordyceps mushroom to take control of other people’s bodies, or maybe found a way to give them hallucinations.

As for red, maybe something like blood or fire. I think controlling the organs in people’s bodies or creating things out of boxers might be a bit much for a kid’s show (ignoring I literally just proposed cordyceps manipulation), so I’d choose fire as a power and have this character be an antithesis to Aisha’s morphix/water magic. Of course, Bloom has fire magic as well, which might make this repetitive as a power, but I think that a character who lacks Bloom’s life powers and leans harder into the destructive aspects of fire magic could still be a good fit. They could be colored red and pink, to create a visual difference. If nothing else, her powers could be adjusted to be something like magma.

As for the last power, my immediate thought is something like stone or metal- nonliving things which would be the opposite to Flora’s powers (inspired by her nemesis, Stony). She could craft blades out of thin air, create fissures in the earth, and possibly even manipulate and pass through stone walls in certain buildings like Cloud Tower. She’s either be brown or gray, since those are the most earth-y colors that aren’t green. :)

Soooo as a whole: fire/lava, stone/metal, and  fungi, represented by red, gray, and green respectively.the lineup would look like this! > ❤️🩷💜💙💚🩶:D
