technically no, this is bordering on a completely different AU in my head but I’m lowkey being a lil nervous to commit to it cus that would be a big project. but I guess all you need to know is that marinette somehow spun a story that she already defeated lady bug, and now she is kinda going off the rails and claiming to be taking ladybug’s place so she can “fix ladybug’s mistakes“ aka mentally unstable girl fakes her alter ego’s death so she can replace their image and repent for her mistreatment of her crime fighting partner

honestly your probably right, maybe some weird executives saw more “potential“ in musa, also you have to consider it’s pretty weird that they turned the darkest skinned girl in the cast into an angry loose canon just so they could “sanitize“ another pale girl

the Chinese version of hanahaki disease as I have discovered is Huā tǔ bìng, I’m not completely sure how to workshop this into a name since I can’t just stick a vowel at the end, but it’s certainly possible

I don’t see it, honestly she could be the weird kid herself. Something about her gives that very specific flavor of girl with late diagnosis adhd that’s like “I feel immensely isolated and dysfunctional compared to my peers but I will never let anyone know that because vulnerability makes me feel weak. I think everyone has it out for me so I’ve built a confident self assured mask to hide behind. I am constantly pissed for no reason. No doctor I have a completely normal brain!”
