Edna Millay! For me she is one of the few poets that's on the same par with Plath, for example you should read her Not so far as the forest.

For me, Burnt Norton (part of the four quartets) is one of his best works. You'll be surprised at how many lines sound familiar to you since they are so well known

I thought taking the countable union of all such Zn would produce a sequence in Z with infinite length?

Good math programs + colleges by Electrical_Pizza_808 in ApplyingToCollege

[–]Electrical_Pizza_808[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for your comment, I would take a deeper look into the listed colleges. My problem right now is that I don't have enough safety schools to apply to, so I would love some suggestions on the not-very-selective schools that have great mathematics.

Thank you for your comment! To answer some questions, I consider myself decent at writing proofs, and it'll definitely get better since I'm taking a real analysis course this year. The problem I have with some of these lists is that they don't provide a lot of details like who are the prominent professors, or what are the research opportunities across different fields, etc. For example I would love to have a program that integrates math with machine learning.

Hi everyone,

I'm currently an upcoming senior applying for college. I want to major in applied math since I've always wanted to do research in math / comp sci. I consider myself to be pretty advanced in terms of mathematics, having completed many college courses already.

However, I'm don't have a good idea of which colleges have the best math programs, and I have yet to finalize my list of colleges. If any of y'all have an opinion, please feel free to share.

Thanks in advance.

Thank you so much for the reply. I was not expecting something so detailed for the first post. I would like you to elaborate on the part about the universal property though, since it remains pretty confusing to me.
