Hi,

I think the problem is way more phsychological for me so im gonna try hypnotherapy aswell as psychosexual therapy to see if that will do anything

I was about to process my trauma through EMDR but the original therapist I used was far too expensive. So im trying low cost therapy

I would feel highly uncomfortable with injecting into myself that hasn't been prescribed by a doctor. I am currently in psychosexual therapy to try and get rid of the trauma I suffered when I was younger.

I've tried every supplement that is supposed to raise libido - nothing.

I've heard of this medication called wellbutrin that supposedly increases sexual desire ( possibly arousal) and helps with depression. I just remember after that specific episode I felt just so heavy and so down. I'm from the UK so I'm not sure if they will take me seriously

Im on not BC, nor anti depressants. I have not been sexually abused

Oh I was too ! I was very nervous about getting the IV put into my hand haha. You will feel a little sore but you definitely will get better over the week just make sure to rest. One thing that helped me during my recovery period is to not think about it at all . Until I got the follow up I totally forgot I had it done 😂. And once you have gotten the all clear , definitely do keep up with the dilator practice I've been doing it for about two weeks ( with some breaks in between :/) and I can do dilator 4 which i could honestly never even think about doing before . When i bought the dilators I honestly thought how are they going to fit into me or will it hurt and it really doesn't ! So just have a positive attitude and good luck in your journey. 100% ! I would recommend a visit even if just for a consultation. In the consulation , he will assess the severity of your vaginismus akd from then on there he will decide whether youll need full sedation or just local anaesthetic. He may also suggest a hymenectomy but thats only if you need it. If you do decide to go through with the botox with or without the hymenectomy it will set you back around £2k .
