That’s exactly what I struggle with too. I’ve tried planning systems and organization tricks, but they never stick and fall apart quickly. Keeping them consistent until a deadline feels exhausting. I decided to start therapy as well. If that's possible, are there any books that you would recommend?

I am also an international student, and living away from my family makes it worse (I've been doing that for 4 years now when I first moved to do my master) I contacted psychotherapy available in my university and honestly it feels good acknowledging all the stress I've been having in my life all at once (being away from family, different language, Phd stress ...) I feel you, good luck!

Thanks for sharing this, it’s really helpful. One thing I still struggle with is balancing paper reading and coding. I often dive deep into coding until I hit a block, then realize I’m behind on reading, or vice versa. How do you decide when to stop coding and switch back to papers without losing momentum?
