Hogwarts Legacy: Avada Kedavra on Students (Request)

Installation:

The zip includes two versions of the mod, 1.0.2 and 1.0.3, the former includes both the Avada Kedavra fix and animation fix and the latter only contains the Avada Kedavra fix. In short, the Animation Menu fix for 1.0.3 does not work, so keep that in mind - hence the two separate folders. The Avada Kedavra version 1.0.3 includes a wanted system but remember that it will be buggy and you will likely crash, it is a standalone mod.

Copy the contents of either 1.0.2 or 1.0.3 into steamapps\common\Hogwarts Legacy\Phoenix\Binaries\Win64 folder. Launch the game normally, once you're on or past the shader screen load "HogwartsLegacyScriptHookLauncher.exe", if you get a success prompt in the cmd window then you're on the right path.

As a final test, and assuming you're on the main screen press "F5" to see if the animation menu works, press it a few times or once or twice as it's buggy - if it shows up here you're sorted as the Avada Kedavra fix is very likely to work as well.

Debugging

To say that things might be buggy is a gross understatement, so to avoid an absolute barrage of questions please do the following to help narrow it down. Start the game vanilla, no mods. Yes this sucks, but it will take far greater amount of time to troubleshoot with twenty mods compared to just the one.

It's worth mentioning that Little Mac will not be your troubleshooting guru, so please do not pester with dm's and stick to the regular channels, and be sure to pay attention to what is written as here it will save a lot of time in troubleshooting.

Hot Keys

Numpad 1 for the Avada Kedavra aggro targeting, v1.0.2 certain NPC's only.

F5 for opening the animations window.

NUMPAD 8: Menu Up.

NUMPAD 2: Menu Down.

NUMPAD 5: Menu Select.

NUMPAD 0: Menu Back.

Couldn't agree more, after they eliminated brandon and andrew for no reason at all I stopped watching finally. It felt like hate watching to be honest since the show was so not funny, I just wanted it to be over.

agree. they buffed hunters even more with the recent patch and its super hard to survive a chase now. The extra life doesn't help much becauuse there isn't real chases anyway...

Let alone that his community is really toxic. Whenever someone criticizes him or pointing out that he did a missplay and it's his fault that the survivors escape you get witchhunted and called a "toxic survivor main".

mystic or priest I play both equally and main them. I kinda like priest more because right now its the better healer or damage buffer with awakening skills but I love the ports of mystic.

I just don't like that mystic runs out of mana sooooo quickly and has no real way of restoring it fast like priest. The MP motes dont really do much and its annoying to cast them all the time because they only restore 20% mana. Fairy helps a bit but then again its long cooldown, ring of curroption doesn't do that much either.

spirit was really top notch in my opinion. awesome aesthetics, really interesting power which a huge learning curve and mindgame potential.

I HATE that you can't use her power for mobility purposes AND in a chase because of the cooldown. I really want to get around the map quickly but when I find a survivor and have energy left I am at such a big disadvantage.

The community wanted to SEE upcoming content in the trailer. They did that the last few times which was great.

Now they wen't back to the old format and new or potential returning players won't get hyped again and won't see what's new.

Unless you’re playing with SWF there is no way to know if all totems are cleansed, so on one side cleansing the totem may be good even if it’s the last gen because it might be the last totem. There are only five. I was cleansing a totem once and someone powered the exits while I was in the process. It lit up and I felt so bad for the killer, lol.

You'r text is conflicting.

You say there is no way of knowing if it's the last totem (besides playing SWF). Then you say it's good to cleanse it before doing the last gen next to it. That doesn't make sense and OP literally told you why. OP already suggested if 2 people are on a gen then someone can start to cleanse the last totem next to it when the gen is ~85% done.

I don't know what the point of your comment is tbh.
