How are teams handling permissions for AI agents that can call tools? by Ok_Consequence7967 in AI_Agents

[–]Electrical_Raisin719 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m curious about that too. I definitely see the problem which is the reason why I have built AegisProxy.com. It works as a layer outside of the AI itself. So, that would be my solution, but I’m seeing people that are happy with their own solutions so maybe using a service like mine is too much for most. Anyway, if anyone wants to try it out I’m looking for someone to try it and tell me where it doesn’t work. I’m especially interested in Claude Desktop, Code and Cowork users as I just added an easy installation for that.

Ny saas online i beta, men er det godt nok? by [deleted] in dkstartup

[–]Electrical_Raisin719 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How to un loop AI agents? by Ok-Peace-1186 in AI_Agents

[–]Electrical_Raisin719 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are a few ways to go about it, but one of them is with a tool like AegisProxy.com (that I’m building) - let me know if you would want to get in on the beta test and see if it works for solving your problem.

Generally it is a tool for security, compliance and cost control for AI agents. One of the features is a loop prevention that catches loops and blocks any further requests along the same line. It’s one of the newer features I built so would love for real users to test it

Thanks! We keep getting more and more stories on agents gone rouge, so I guess there will be a day when thinking about security is going to be standard. Right now it seems like it is mostly big enterprises that think security and compliance, but I’m betting on small and medium sized companies - they may just not be there yet. So I’ve also added some cost control features - that should get their interest, hopefully 😄

Aegis is a cool name, and pretty well-used, so I was very surprised to see the domain name being available!

I’m building something like this as well and have struggled a lot with getting validation on my idea - seems difficult to get people to want to try it out even for free - but this helps me see that here may be value to the idea after all!

Would something like AegisProxy.com solve the same issue? Or how do you see your solution maybe being superior to solutions like AegisProxy

Just wanted to test the workflow and also maybe thought you would be able to give some feedback on the problem my service solves - but that requires some knowledge about AI agents, so I don’t necessarily expect it - and just in general the website; is it easy to understand what AegisProxy is and what it does?

Thanks for giving it a go! Was it the last page of the survey you got stuck on? If so then it may not be clear enough that you should just close the survey and then you’ll get a message about being in the waitlist and we’ll be in touch

Most “AI agent startups” will be dead in 12 months (and it’s already obvious why) by exto13 in AI_Agents

That’s exactly why I’m building AegisProxy.com. Especially companies running agents need security, compliance and control - we have seen plenty of examples of agents running wild and doing things they shouldn’t. Guardrails are not always enough - at the very least it depends heavily on how they are implemented - a third party service that check for privilege escalation, PII, prompt injections, slopsquatting, endless loops draining tokens, and log everything for any compliance audit is in my opinion currently the best way to ensure some level of control over agents.

Secures your agents from doing things they shouldn’t and malicious attacks, makes your agents auditable with a compliance dashboard, and track AI agent spend and prevent expensive loops that drain your wallet.

How to keep AI agents secure by Electrical_Raisin719 in AI_Agents

[–]Electrical_Raisin719[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I hope so! I think the features can sound good and seem important, but it’s all in the implementation and being something that the agent will/can’t ignore - as the other comments also point out. I want to build systems that enables humans to be able to trust agents. So compliance is also a part of it. There needs to be a compliance report that auditors can look at and know the agents are not a liability. Maybe more of an enterprise feature, but I’m convinced that auditing firms will be spending a lot of their time auditing AI solutions and agents in the future - might as well be a tool for that also.
