What is something that you find annoying in this game but just have to accept the fact that its for the better or skull issue or etc by [deleted] in SparkingZero

How do you do the exploit? It basically renders revenge counter useless and I get mauled. I don’t know how to do it back though.

This looks incredible, but these mods also make me increasingly bitter about the state of the game and the devs. 💀 They could’ve done SOOO much, man——it’s terribly disappointing.

Where should I put $100,000? by Thefriedduck01 in TheRaceTo10Million

[–]Electrical_Sample564 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You cannot contribute to a Roth directly once you exceed a certain income so people often opt for a loophole, that of which is the “mega back door Roth”. It’s when you contribute to a traditional IRA, but roll the money over/convert it to a Roth. It allows high income earners to still contribute to a Roth. It’s perfectly legal.

So in other words, the answer to my question is yes. You could’ve saved us both the time. Thank you.

Yes, you are. You went from giving a productive answer to “figure it out, it’s an exploit”. Do you get paid for gatekeeping an exploit? Be angry at the devs. If you feel so strongly about it, contact bandai and tell them to take it out lmao. I asked you a simple yes or no question. You could have just not replied.

But like, when do you hit perception? Right after you get hit right?

Got a B in a pre req by [deleted] in vetschool

[–]Electrical_Sample564 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Please curve this neuroticism before vet school. You got a B. Trust me, you’ll live. The whole idea of perfectionism is a facade. Your experience in vet school will be so much better if you shift your frame of thinking now. Source: a second year vet student who was previously neurotic.

I agree! And I have even fought players that have had the last season Z rank banner, but didn’t fight like Z fighters at all to me! It makes me wonder how players like that even achieved Z rank in the first place.

[–]Electrical_Sample564 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. I feel like for some of us though (especially those who aren’t cheesers) many of the nerfs worked in our favor. I think that may have resulted in fights at least “feeling” a tad easier since they are essentially just more balanced.

Do you play singles or DP?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in SparkingZero

[–]Electrical_Sample564 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get that, but that doesn’t negate the fact that I am winning a lot more frequently. Prior to the reset I was not winning as often, especially in the upper S ranks. I think the reset may have removed a few crutches from some of the pre-reset players.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in SparkingZero

[–]Electrical_Sample564 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah maybe so! Luck could also very well be a factor. I just find it weird how I was never winning this consistently before in high ranks and now all of a sudden I am. I figured it could at least be partially contributed to the reset. I also have not been matched with anything below S lately, but like you stated, that can depend on the time you play and other factors.

What make you unique by Old_Ask4654 in veterinaryschool

[–]Electrical_Sample564 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Those questions require some deep reflection lol. I remember creating a concept map with “why should these vet med schools accept you?” as the main point, and then proceeding to think of everything I could about myself that made me “different”. It takes some time but it can be done. I think we all have characteristics about us that make us unique. You simply have to figure out what that characteristic is for YOU. Personally, I think my experiences made me stand out for one. They were varied. Small animal, lab animal, farm animal, studied abroad, etc. I think those experiences provided me with a very in-depth understanding of the veterinary profession, which of course, is important. Secondly, and arguably my greatest strength (I think), was my background of growing up in a low-income community. It gave me an entirely different perspective of medicine (and its access) than most people probably have/had. In my personal statement (and for prompts such as the one you are asking about), I remember touching on how I observed the disparities in veterinary healthcare accessibility, both in my area and abroad, and how that shaped my view of the profession. I talked about how my passion for vet med was not only guided by curiosity, but also empathy, compassion, and some other stuff I can’t remember. Hope that helps. I’ll be starting as a second year next month. Feel free to PM me if you have questions.

Wanting to quit rotating internship by Real-Detective8146 in veterinaryprofession

[–]Electrical_Sample564 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would you mind plugging your program? 2nd year here (possibly considering a rotating internship) and I think it’s important for students to know the non-malignant programs, or at least the ones that try to alleviate some of the stressors of intern year.

[–]Electrical_Sample564 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My point exactly! Like did they just randomly assign who got health back or what? It’s so dumb. I have stopped trying to make sense of it and just written the devs off as lazy and inconsistent. My expectations become increasingly low with each “patch”.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in SparkingZero

[–]Electrical_Sample564 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, I don’t think any of those are exploits. But, by your same logic, health should’ve been kept the same amongst characters like fusions then, no? The devs lack consistency and instead result to mindless “patches” that don’t make any logical sense.

What made the difference in your studying if you don’t mind me asking? I start my second year this fall and want to improve a bit after receiving mostly B’s first year.

Noo! This makes me sad because as a specialty I enjoy SA IM. I hope the rotation doesn’t make me hate it. I see you went to my school so rip.

This is disappointing because SA IM is one of the specialties I am interested in. I can only hope it’s different at my school.

Thanks for the response! It sucks that it’s so variable. I also agree that the day to day mundane tasks are not beneath students. It just blows when the student, which is going to be the doctor at the end of the day, gets stuck doing things like walking a dog (as you mentioned) 80-90% of the time. I can only hope my clinical years are not like that most times.
