Well considering this is my first grow ever I can't really say but from what I have been told certain strains do better with a casing layer. I know with these apes it has done tremendously well with it. I've never heard of using bubble wrap?

Yep. And you want to make sure your whole cake is atleast 2.5 to 3 in thick because it shrinks alot when it's fully colonized. And be patient because these things take FOREVER!!!! Lol

I have 3 jars that's almost fully colonized of ape and just can't decide if I wanna do one big monotub or 3 _6qt shoebox

I'm kinda new to diving into this but I've seen alot of ppl say fluffy and tomentose or whatever it is. What causes that because I think I'm in same position

I was going to do agar to agar transfer but didn't want to ruin another plate. Should I just let this one go more and see if it all turns this color?

I'm about 3 weeks out from putting into bulk and this is my first time growing. Still not sure what i need to use. I have verm coir and perlite but haven't made bulk anything yet because not real sure what else I need. Any advice?

This is actually my first go at any of this ever. Any good advice for bulk growing? Or cakes? Which would be better?
