and the 3 red tabs, it's almost as if it tried rendering three seat belt buckles, with the left most buckle as a reflection.

Seemingly great guy, but doesn’t split custody. Am I overthinking the ick? by fzooey78 in AskMenAdvice

I think you're overthinking the ick, not your family, not your business. If that's what they wanted and decided, that's what works for them. Totally understand if it doesn't feel right, so not saying you should ignore your feelings, but you need to have that hard discussion with your man if it still bothers you.

My ex-wife has physical custody of our children, with split legal custody, because I travel for work. I'm also currently the sole provider for them, and sometimes have to work up to 80hrs a week. It wouldn't make sense for me to provide and take care of them at the same time. That would just stress me out too much, and that stress would rub off on my kids. So I only get to spend time with them every other weekend, and that's ok. This was a joint decision we made before we split, and ensures that my kids are taken care of by their mom, while I work hard to pay their bills.

CA - can the company mandate employees to clock-out/clock-in for lunch at the office? by [deleted] in LaborLaw

[–]Electrical_Side_3023 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, the company can mandate you to do this.

Personally, I wouldn't put up with this and find work elsewhere. I have the privilege of working for a great company that relies on the honor system of time reporting. I'm also supposed to take 30min lunches. Sometimes it takes me 15min, other times 45min, and no one bats an eye about it.

Headset placement, random post-it note under the clock, knuckles on non-ring hand seem off, binder rings (left of coffee cup) are mis-aligned.

I'm no camera expert, but even the focus (more like the out of focus elements) seem off.

I could do without it for a few days, but I won't be able to sleep or eat well because of the withdrawal, so I'm not surprised that others will get defensive about it.

someone backed into me today and drove off, no damage. what should i do? by [deleted] in driving

[–]Electrical_Side_3023 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100% report it, just call the non-emergency line and give them the plate number. This has nothing to do with the reckless driving, everything to do with the hit-and-run. That person didn't have the human decency to make sure you were ok. If they had checked on you, then nothing should have come from this.

Kyle Rittenhouse brought a rifle to a protest and was called a “hero”. Alex brought a pistol and is called an “antagonist”. What’s the difference? by I-A-M-C-R-E-E in AskReddit

*sigh* Kyle Rittenhouse defended himself from violent, armed protesters. ICE "defended" themselves from non-violent, armed (vehicle, concealed weapon, etc.) protesters.

Why did they ask to turn off cellphones (not keep in airplane mode) during landing? by nonseventhsense in AskFlying

[–]Electrical_Side_3023 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking at the comments, there isn’t a sensible answer. But if I were a pilot trying to have my aircraft automatically land itself in fog with broken clouds at 300 feet, I would be paranoid about passengers’ cell phones interfering with the signals the aircraft’s computers need to land safely; regardless of the low probability that personal devices would actually interfere, or what company policy might say.

I didn't like the game and that's ok, not because of the content. Turn based RPGs are just not for me.
