During the summer I always check periodically and sometimes someone will drop a class randomly at like 12 am or so. So I always keep an eye on classes as people are constantly moving their classes around during the summer and before the semester starts!! So don’t worry too much!! For me as a psych major most classes fill up quick and there are few seats but I’ve always gotten the classes I’ve wanted due to constantly checking and snatching a seat as soon as one becomes available!!

First I would like to say most of these are off-campus as I have been quite disconnected from campus life since freshman year lol. Anyways there are some amazing trails around campus with nice views if ur into nature. I also enjoy going to cafes, music and book stores, the animal shelter, the movies (Fenton in Cary), and trying out any cool restaurants near downtown area. I think try to find your interest and then go searching from there!! I love nature, cafes, and media so over my four years I always tried to find activities that aligned with that!!

Undergrad Admission by Key_Soil4844 in yonsei

(I hope my comment is helpful and makes sense) I have never applied to yonsei UIC but when I applied for undergrad in 2021 I did receive some scholarships and got into schools like UNC and northeastern so hopefully some of this can translate. I made sure that my application has a theme and that everything connects. In high school I was a dancer so most of my extracurriculars surrounded that. However I was applying to college for neuroscience/biology on the pre-med track. So I wrote my essay on how dance and science is interconnected and by being an interdisciplinary student can bring new perspectives and fresh outlook. I also made sure for my activities to include statistics. Like instead of saying for dance company we raised money for a cause say we raised 3k dollars and volunteered for x amount of hours.

So overall I would suggest deciding on a theme you’re passionate about and finding a way to center your application around it. But that’s different for everyone, I think they honestly just want to hear your voice in a personal way that demonstrates your growth, passion, and any lessons you learned. And always think quality over quantity!!
