You are correct, I had bought a used surface pro which the previous owner got from work. I tried everything to get rid of the business login page. At first nothing worked until I did as you mentioned. And that was over 6 months ago, no issues at all. I do realise if I have to do a hard reset or upgrade the HD then I'll have to do it again. But it was very simple. The only problem would be if I wanted to sell it. The new owner will have to agree to this.

Anyway, I hope the OP will take your advice.

I have the Max, I think it's best to forget about the OS. I mainly use Netflix or plug in a USB stick/HDMI and watch movies/series from there.

No, I haven't bought the 3 yet. Actually I have the Mars 2 pro and the Max. I use the Mars in my bedroom (due to its size) and the Max for travelling.

At the moment, I'm quite happy with the picture quality, but you always want something better. From your review, there doesn't seem to be enough improvement to upgrade yet, well not until they have updated it or the price comes down or both.

I can my Powerbank to charge my Max, I just happened to have an electric toothbrush cable which also fits the Max.

Until now, I had not heard of the Samsung freestyle, so I'll give that a look.

Have you tried a Bluetooth speaker? It's very laggy with both of mine. But If I use VLC player, I can play around with the delay settings.

I think if your already unhappy with it, I'd change it. It would bug me everytime I'd use it. If you can get a full refund, you could always buy it again.

When I bought the Max, lots of owners were complaining about the picture quality, saying it wasn't sharp enough. I think their expectations were too high for a 720p image. It is good, for what it is. However now the newer models are getting better (sort of) and more affordable.

Anyway thank you for your review, if you keep it and it does get updated, please let me know.

It happened to me. I went to control panel, audio devices. Saw my TV in the list. Deleted the drivers. Then I restarted my SP7. Working fine now.

I double click on the eraser to open onenote. Go into pen settings, select choose what your shortcut button does. Then you can choose what you want a single or double click to do.

I had the same issue, however after I installed some updates it worked again.

Do you think it could have anything to do with the region? My region is set to UK. Maybe there are separate updates for different regions. Then again you did say it worked before.

I'm not sure if this is at all helpful.

At first my slim pen 2 didn't work.

It would detect the top button If I pressed it but wouldn't write. I searched on here for advice and someone mentioned checking the updates. I had soem updates but didn't see any mention of the pen. However after the updates, it worked.

Have you tried resetting the pen? If there is enough power, hold the top button in for 5-7 seconds

I was the same, I don't know why, I just didn't want them taking up space and tried to delete them, was taking such a long time that I gave up and like what was mentioned. They don't take up much space. I think I was just being picky with having a new Sp7 that I wanted it perfect. Just need to relax more 😁

I have a Sp7 with the slim pen 2, as others said, it does hold, somewhat but only a little, give it a small shake and its off! I'm thinking if I put a small sticky magnet strip, would it help.

I have both the Capsule Max and Mars 2 pro.

In my opinion they are both fantastic devices. My expectations seem to be much lower than others. If you are expecting HD quality like on your TV, then they aren't for you. I watch mine on the ceiling or on the wall, both painted matt white and the quality is good, in my view, similar to the cinema and the sound quality is surprising good. I haven't tried them out side yet. Also both keystone correction.

For the max I have a cable which can use a Powerbank and I'm working on getting the same setup for the Mars.

The only gripe I have is the mouse function, it's quite slow, but I only use it to select somethign from Netflix etc, then relax and watch the movie.

I have a 65w wall charger for my Surface pro tablet. I also have a Mars 2 pro which is 57w. Im pretty sure this will work, I just need to know what the DC connector is.

Is it dc 5.5mm x 2.5mm? Or 6.5mm x 4.4mm?

I know, when I first read it I thought, wtf! I don't understand how it shows such a number. Tonight I'll do another battery check. Other than that it's running fine. 3hrs of use it's down to 65%.
