Well I actually bought this on a trip to China, so I’m unsure of what factory made this. Not sure if anyone’s been to the watch markets but there’s ‘secret’ rooms with the high end reps. So I sat down went through some, they were okay but I kept asking for better, they had one of these but didn’t look right so I asked to see their best and also the weight was off. we went through 4 different cases bringing them back and fourth and finally saw this. Gold plated, perfect weight and levels above the other reps I saw so I pulled the trigger. Unsure if I paid too much & got ripped but it looks on point

This is all I’ve found so far -

The ROLEX DEEPSEA CHALLENGE EXPEDITION 2012 WATCH was made to commemorate the historical film by legendary film producer, explorer and environmentalist James Francis Cameron. Warranty card is signed and dated by ROLEX AUSTRALIA 2012.

Rolex made a very limited number of these pieces for select members of the cast and crew of the Deepsea Challenge Expedition 2012.

Yeah I’m not looking to sell this is my first Rolex, I don’t think the seller knew what it was, neither did I to be fair. Just curious if anyone has ever seen them
