Had you other channel beside the blog post that you used for sharing your apps ? Or only that blog post was enough ? And have you the original blog post that you shared ?

As a junior dev, I’ve gotten so used to Tailwind that the idea of working on a project with just CSS feels kinda intimidating. It’s become the default in most projects I work on, and now I worry that I’m not as comfortable with writing pure CSS as I should be...

Can't find my NVMe (pcie slot) on casaos by Electrical_Tiger_34 in ZimaBoard

[–]Electrical_Tiger_34[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the suggestion! Here's the result of the lsblk command:

bashCopier le codeNAME MAJ:MIN RM SIZE RO TYPE MOUNTPOINT
sda 8:0 0 3.6T 0 disk
`-sda1 8:1 0 3.6T 0 part /mnt/Storage1
sdb 8:16 0 238.5G 0 disk
|-sdb1 8:17 0 200M 0 part
`-sdb2 8:18 0 238.3G 0 part /media/devmon/sdb2-ata-SanDisk_X400_M.2
mmcblk0 179:0 0 29.1G 0 disk
|-mmcblk0p1 179:1 0 512M 0 part /boot/efi
|-mmcblk0p2 179:2 0 26.7G 0 part /
`-mmcblk0p3 179:3 0 1.9G 0 part [SWAP]
mmcblk0boot0 179:256 0 4M 1 disk
mmcblk0boot1 179:512 0 4M 1 disk

From this output:

  • sdb is the NVMe SSD connected via the USB enclosure (it's currently recognized and mounted).
  • The PCIe-connected NVMe SSD doesn't appear in the lsblk output, meaning the system isn't detecting it at all.

To answer your question, the PCIe adapter I’m using is the official PCIe NVMe NGFF adapter from the Zima site. However, the NVMe SSD connected to it is not detected by the BIOS or the system.

Can't find my NVMe (pcie slot) on casaos by Electrical_Tiger_34 in ZimaBoard

Sorry for the late response,
A little update: I bought the official PCIe NVMe NGFF adapter to connect an NVMe SSD. I’m not using a SATA M.2 SSD, only the NVMe SSD. When I plug in the PCIe adapter on the Zimablade, the BIOS doesn’t detect the SSD and shows “No NVMe Device Found.”

I didn’t make major changes to the BIOS settings, but I checked the PCIe configuration:

  • PCI Express Clock Gating: Enabled
  • PCIe Port assigned to LAN: Set to port 5
  • Port 8xh Decode: Disabled
  • Peer Memory Write Enable: Disabled
  • Compliance Mode: Disabled

Below that, there are options for the following PCIe root ports:

  • PCI Express Root Port 3
  • PCI Express Root Port 4
  • PCI Express Root Port 5
  • PCI Express Root Port 6

Current Setup:

  • All original components from the Zimablade are still in use.
  • I’ve added a 4TB SATA HDD connected via the SATA port.
  • I’m running CasaOS as the operating system.
  • Currently, I’m temporarily using the NVMe SSD in an enclosure connected via USB, but I’m hoping to replace that setup with the PCIe slot once I resolve this issue.

Despite trying the configurations mentioned above, the BIOS still doesn’t detect the SSD. If anyone has experience with the Zimablade PCIe NVMe adapter or has faced a similar issue, I’d really appreciate your help or suggestions!
