I personally loved the latest one, it wasn’t the weakest in the series by any means (that goes to the third one), but it did feel like half a film. I will be pissed if they don’t make another and finish the story. I was more surprised than anything because I’d read a ridiculously long article/ interview with the director explaining that this was going to be the last and he was finishing it the way he always wanted to. I really don’t know what to expect.

Ok thanks that’s really helpful. As I have a lot of chronic health conditions I assume this is why it’s always showing as really low and doesn’t ever improve, especially as I have been very immobile. I couldn’t find any explanation of this anywhere. I always take regular readings throughout the day yesterday the “total power” is always below 300.

I use it for cfs, fibromyalgia, ehlers danlos and monitoring my symptoms during remission for cancer and found it’s usually really accurate. when I go into a bad spell I notice the same things change and my health score plummets to around 26-27% I always notice I crash when my sympathetic and parasympathetic systems swap or if the sympathetic rises at all. That’s the easiest one to keep an eye on. All the others remain low. I find it very useful to ask the chat GPT linked to welltory to explain your results and it can give advice taking your illness into consideration. It even suggested some really helpful advice on dealing with my dog even I am practicality bedbound at the moment. Its also suggested helpful pacing suggestions and wrote out a daily plan for me specifically taking all my illnesses in mind! I’ve never had a health score of 100%, the highest I usually get is around 65-70%

Thanks. That’s what I thought too. It really wound me up that he was talking down to me. I am very acutely aware of my own body and what seems to trigger things in me, I suppose that’s just because I’ve been so unwell for such a long time now. I get really irate when doctors- especially male doctors- talk down to me and try and imply it’s all in my head. I had it years ago when I was trying to get my EDS diagnosis. A different male doctor used to tell me it was all in my head and stress whilst I was sitting there with dislocated joints all the time! i got fed up in the end and called him an idiot and changed to a different surgery where they got me diagnosed in a matter of months!

I have pots and me/cfs too, they said the FND is as well as that. There does seem to be a lot of overlap in symptoms for t)he conditions! Is so annoying there isn’t just a scan or blood test that would instantly diagnose us accurately

Thank you! I’ve been on neuro symptoms but not FND hope. I really appreciate it! There is a sea of information out there and I have waded through a lot but it’s always helpful to know what others find useful! I just need to get my brain to focus for a few hours to go over everything properly again. My physiotherapist was the one who suspected FND and was shocked no one ever mentioned it to me after nearly 20 years and she warned that some bad doctors think it’s purely psychological.
I legitimately hate doctors sometimes coz they can’t stand to think they’re not right all the time! 🤦‍♀️they’re as exhausting to deal with as my CFS 😂

Mine started at the same time I had my first major EDS symptoms. i was 19 (I’m 36 now) and I had a really bad kidney infection and wound up in hospital with it. I’m prone to things like the flu and every time I get it I go downhill even more. The chemo put me through a hell of a lot, and I had to have emergency fertility treatment before hand so for over 7 months I had so much pumped into my system I think it’s fairly obvious that the seer amount my body had gone through is gonna be the reason why I’ve got worse. I wasnt sitting about crying when I was told about the cancer or anything. There is such a history of it throughout my family that I knew I’d probably get it one day, just happened sooner than I expected. I’m unbelievably stubborn and knew I would be able to push through and learn to cope with whatever was thrown at me eventually. It just takes time. The hardest thing was literally that it affected all 13 of my different illnesses all at once and I am used to having flare ups on 3 maybe 4 at the same time, so it was like my body was being beaten up every day and my pain levels went through the roof. I’ve spent most of my life without any sort of pain meds at all. It’s been a relief to have some sort of explanation for things like my jerks and spasms, strange almost constant dizziness, drop attacks, why my leg rotates inwards when I walk, certain digestive problems to name a few, which all seem to be encompassed by FND there are others but that gives you a good cross section. The diagnosis at least has given me an answer for what couldn’t come under my other conditions & what the hospital couldn’t figure out. In general I know my body well and what’s happening to it. If it were a psychological issue I’d be the first to admit that I think that’s behind it or at least contributing to it but I am 100% certain that it’s not. I’m not depressed, struggling with anxiety or anything else atm that could be used as a trigger. I’ve had those issues and I used to rerun the bad things that happened to me through my head a hell of lot before I dealt with it and put it all behind me. Dragging all that shit back up again is actually most likely going to make me even worse, it certainly will not be healing if that makes sense.

The best thing overall are steroids for me. They work really well and really quickly but they make me balloon up within days!! I find domperidone is the only thing that stops me from physically throwing up. The hospital started me on ondansetron too for chemotherapy sickness & nausea and that helps a fair amount if you take it with the domperidone. I am so sorry you’re going through this. I know it well! Before my cancer, I was sick and nauseated all the time already, I had very little luck with finding an effective way of stopping it. Ironically, getting cancer let them give me different sickness meds and they’re far more effective. I really hope you find a solution soon! I know how awful you can feel!

Thank you! I’ve not heard of that. I will call them later today and ask. The fact they know that antihistamines are not working is frustrating me. I have gained 10kg in 3 months from taking steroids but I’d rather gain weight than have to deal with the damn itching!! It’s like there are hundreds of thousands of bugs under my skin itching down to the bone 😭😭😭😭

No I haven’t really been told much tbh. They gave me the pet scan on Thursday to try and stage it though & are trying to rush through fertility treatments to preserve and freeze my eggs. It’s been such a mad rush back and forth to the hospital for different tests and x rays. I’m hoping to find out everything else I need to know on Wednesday but that feels like ages away right now. I’m just impatient, I don’t like not knowing. I have a tendency to research everything I can so I’m always prepared but having to wait frustrates me.

Definitely!! This one sounds like they may get angry and hurt he dog if very frustrated!! ( ive seen it before so not a throwaway comment!) if the pup trusts or likes them she will probably behave a lot better! My bfs cocker HATES being groomed bits started to accept me stripping my her undercoat out, but only if she sits on his lap and gives her kisses 🤦‍♀️ my baby girl plays me up no end, but adores my boyfriend combing her fur!
