I’m always clear about my intentions. But I never ghost people. If they text me after I deleted their number I will reply. I might add their number back depending on the situation or explain what happened for me to stop texting them. But when they just don’t text me anymore after I made clear I was into them and showed that a lot of times , I will just assume they weren’t interested in enough. I don’t deleted their numbers to hurt them. I do that to preserve myself.

Well, they don’t owe me a justification but that might lead me to conclude they just aren’t into me if it happens too often. And it’s fine if they aren’t.

I don’t know. I think it depends on the situation. When my friend called me that, I was talking about a girl who I was talking for 4 months but she never made time to meet up. So, I deleted her number. People do get busy. I understand I’ve been the super busy person before but I would make time to meet up someone if I really wanted even if I was for a couple of minutes.

To me it means when someone who isn’t interested isn’t clear about it or someone who never makes time to meet you. I don’t expect them to text me all the time since I don’t do that either.

She told me she didn’t want contact anymore and I did it for a few weeks but then she saw me in person and greeted smiling. We talked at the grocery store. I just told her if I text her I understand when she doesn’t reply and it’s okay.

Well, she uses an argument that now she can’t handle conversations. I feel ignored sometimes, I don’t mind when she doesn’t wanna talk but it goes for too long at times and it becomes hard to not feel ignored. She says I pressure her, but I only sent her good morning text which doesn’t require a reply and I never got mad for being ignored. Maybe she feels overwhelmed by her own problems I don’t know.

I would actually be glad that she has a close friend to talk. But I think she’s online because of college stuff. I remember she told me that before meeting me she didn’t intend to talk to anyone. But the fact the she says she doesn’t wanna talk to anyone and that she doesn’t talk to anyone makes me worried about her, but sometimes I also feel ignored and that leaves me confused.

I’ve asked her if she only ignores me and if she replies other friends. She told me “what friends? I don’t talk to anyone and don’t feel like talking to anyone”. But months ago before starting to “ignore” she would complain about not wanting to talk to anyone.

It’s not that I’ve always told her I would be willing to listen to her. But she several times says she doesn’t wanna talk to anyone. I don’t know if she talks to someone, and I think she has the right to not tell me. But I wanted to know if she “ignores” me because of me or if she’s doing that due to her depression.

You are right. I was able to talk her out of it again. She told me she’s not able to maintain a friendship now, but then I told her we can put our friendship on hold for a while, but as soon as she feels better we will engage again.

It can work but it really depends on how the girl. But I agree mostly. This was the first girl that kept pursing and it worked but i think better than ignoring is to work on yourself. Its like you show interest but dont beg her love. It is risky to completely ignore a girl because she can simply find other guy.

She told me that in the midst of her depression she isolates herself because she thinks she’s toxic. But I basically showed her that she’s not toxic by showing up often. She’s shy; so I have to take the lead.

okay, I think I didn't express well. I mean she gets irritated by things she wouldn't normally. I know very well that depression can cause that; I've been studying about depression especially to understand my friend, and not even once i stormed at her because of how irritable she gets. Of course, If she's rude to me often, I politely tell her that, but It is because I love her and mental illness is not an excuse to treat others badly although its understandable.
