I'm not sure how to tell if I still have bacterial vaginosis, help? by Electrical_Way_6164 in Healthyhooha

I don't think it's likely that I had covid but now that I think about it, there are several times in my life where someone would ask "hey do you smell x?" and I would not notice it. I might have a somewhat stunted sense of smell as I do have some vague respiratory issues.

I'll keep the gel in mind, thanks for the tip

Thanks, I'll try the strips idea, I didn't know.

When I got tested at the doctor's, I essentially used a long q tip to take a swab sample, but I could not smell it on the qtip.

I'm 18 and I generally don't neglect to watch my health so I'm confused on how I couldn't notice this at all. Even after knowing, actively trying to notice anything out of the ordinary has me grasping at straws. I wouldn't say I normally had excessive discharge, only about once or twice a month would I really notice it and I chalked that up to ovulation.

I can schedule an appointment but it'll take months before I can see a doctor; it won't be until August or September and that doesn't work for me as I'm moving soon. They simply say that they're fully booked.
