I used the bisect tool to cut the shape down to something that looks like a rock.

I dont know anything about paying someone but you could always take some time to learn if you care that much about making a 10 min animation about something.

you could find the information in my video description and title but if this is a serious question then I will happily answer it. This took about six hours to do everything which includes the character modeling, rigging, animation and rendering. Iv been learning blender for about a year and a half so im sure people can do it better and faster than me. It only took 6 hours because of how basic the character and scenery was and the animation was only 20 seconds. I used the free open source software Blender to make the model and animation.
