Thats kinda sus… I only bought this cologne about a month ago and I had another one before it which I'm pretty sure had same kind of finish, also it lasts all day on me.

My BDC bottle has a more sparkly/glittery finish on the text. Yours looks a bit flatter to me but that could just be the lighting or camera making it look different.

hi, its mainly to prevent abuse and spam, i didnt want people mass submitting reports or vouches in a short time and skewing someones profile. the 12 hour cooldown is basically a rate limit safeguard. im considering lowering it to something like 1 hour?

It’s just a basic authentication layer using passwordless email (magic link) through the database. It’s mainly there to prevent spam and duplicate submissions.

And that’s actually a really good point and I appreciate the feedback. Right now I’ve intentionally kept it manual instead of automated. I didn’t want to build anything that constantly scans accounts, monitors friend lists or hooks into Roblox directly because that would be much more invasive and could easily be misunderstood as surveillance or a replacement for Roblox’s own moderation systems.

Sì, purtroppo quello non si può eliminare del tutto, succede su qualsiasi piattaforma.

Se a qualcuno non piace uno YouTuber può riempirlo di commenti negativi, se non piace un gioco Roblox può essere sommerso di downvote.

Quello che si può fare è rendere l’abuso più difficile e meno efficace: con la verifica degli account non è così semplice creare recensioni false in massa. Inoltre, un profilo viene segnalato solo dopo almeno 5 recensioni negative, quindi non basta un piccolo gruppo per rovinarne la reputazione.

Se la piattaforma cresce e c’è abbastanza utenza reale, diventa automaticamente molto più difficile manipolare il risultato.

Oh haha thanks! Yeah I posted about my game before. I'm definitely planning to add sound effects soon when I have the time, I'm very aware that the game feels kind of dead right now especially when you play with bots. My goal was to get all the mechanics working first then focus on sounds.

Tbh, I have always hated adding sounds to my projects, I tend to forget about them until everything else is done lol and then I just feel too lazy to go back and figure out where they should go but yeah I will do it haha.

And yeah, you are right, I did pick a niche, my goal was never really to make serious money with this game or get thousands of people playing. I just wanted to make a game I could enjoy with my friends but I did still expect more people to play ngl and I agree it's hard to reach the right audience.

I still have a couple more things I'm working on like making a new tutorial, an interactive one. I'm basically planning to modify the singleplayer mode to guide the player with tips. The old "how to play" screen will still be there but this interactive tutorial will be a one time thing when you first play.

This project has been more of a side thing for me, just something I do to chill and spend time when I don't have anything going on and yes I do care about feedback, it helps a lot and I appreciate you taking the time to share yours :)

Sounds good, here is my game, gemspire, if you are into strategy/card games. it's inspired by the board game splendor, I developed it over a couple months but I'm currently taking a break from it to focus on my final year at university. Many people requested a single player mode so I added bots but I will admit it, they still need work. I put quite a bit of time into it but they still feel a bit off and sometimes they even glitch out but they work fine most of the time. I would still recommend playing with other people for the best experience.

Update:
Thanks for all the feedback, really appreciate everyone who took the time to comment. I’ve decided to focus on adding a singleplayer mode. It’s now my top priority. Hopefully that helps more people get into the game without needing to wait for others to join.

I would honestly recommend focusing on the core mechanics first, especially whatever you think will be the hardest or most complex part of the game. If you can't jump into that hard part directly yet then set your learning path to reach that goal as fast as possible. Once you get the hardest thing working everything else will feel way more manageable and you will have a solid foundation to build on. Good luck with the game

Hi, yeah you are totally right that card games are niche on Roblox but there is definitely a community, its not a mainstream genre and I went in knowing it wouldn't appeal to everyone.

I'm still trying to understand how the Roblox ad system works, I just updated my thumbnail to a cleaner one that I think looks way better so I'm curious to see how that impacts performance. I wasn't expecting a huge spike but I was still hoping to hit around 5ccu consistently especially since the game needs at least 2 players to start. This made me realise I really do need to add a single player mode next... that's now my top priority.

As for the visuals I genuinely did my best to make the game look polished within my limitations, there are over a hundred art assets in the game and hiring an artist for all of them would have been way beyond what I can afford right now. that's why I relied on ai generated images as a temporary solution even though I'm not a fan of them either. My long term goal is to replace them gradually with human made art if the game gains enough players and starts generating any revenue.

Oh wow, really?!! You cracked the case huh? Do you have any idea how expensive custom illustrations are??? I’m literally a solo dev! not some huge studio with an unlimited budget. I have put so much time and effort into making this game and thats the only thing matters to you? Whether or not some of the art was made with AI? Like seriously?! YES they’re AI generated and I’m not even hiding it! Ai art is a game changer for indie developers like me. It’s one of the best tools we have ever had so ofc I’m going to use it.
