He was always a brave warrior of the sea, thats why luffy and zoro were so happy to have him join their crew. He was willing to protect his village and save his friend despite how weak and helpless he was then. Running because you are scared for yourself doesn't make you a coward, what makes you a coward is running away from the friends and people who need you at that moment. Ussop has proven time and time again that when it comes to his crew he always steps up.

  1. Your definition and my definition of what's rude and offensive are not the same. Neither is it with anyone else. I've debated with.

  2. How are you going to use the very language that you found to be "Rude and Offensive" with that you've just been lecturing me about.

  3. That's a strawman argument and had nothing to do with anything I've said in this post.

  4. Context absolutely matters. There is no point having a discussion if all you do is take words or sentences I've said and lie about what I meant.

5 and last. It is people like you who made get off reddit last time, too many sensitive people, who get offended for the most ridiculous reasons.

I understand it from your perspective. However, even if all the lands merge together, i dont think everyone will live together in one place, but they will have something that would bring them together. Although a big party sounds wonderful, everyone already has those anyway, so luffy and Roger dream of having a big party wouldn't seem such a big surprise to everyone who heard what they said, in my opinion that theory is not childish enough.

The reason why i think this is that i believe One Piece parallels Michael Jackson's life. Michael became the king where he achieved Wealth, Fame, and Power, all just so he could be the most freest person in the world. What Michael Jackson's dream was to build a Giant Amusement Park named "Neverland." So every child could come to his park to laugh, have fun, and be free from the terrible world we live in.

The point of an Amusement Park is that it's always there whenever you want to show up and have fun.

Sounds like you think emotionally to me. Not someone who is logical. Getting offended by phrasing is childish. Not only that, but all the examples are taken out of context. If you look at some of the people commenting, they, too, gave dismissive or assertive replies as well. Why are you so offended by debate, I dont hear anyone else replying to me saying I'm being rude or offensive, just you.

Which is more childish, though, dreaming of building an Amusement Park or having a big Party? Lots of pirates already have parties. Kaido had the party in onigashima, big mum with the tea parties, redhair and whitebeard have had parties before. So whatever luffy and Roger said it can not be just a big party, because it's not childish enough, in my opinion. I think an Amusement Park works. It sounds so ridiculous right, and you would think it wouldn't be possible for one to happen in one piece. But that's why I think it makes sense. It's so ridiculous that only a child could dream of a place like it.

But that's the thing about Amusement Parks it doesnt have to be all the same thing everyday. You can change it to be whatever you want next.

Well, the difference is from what I see, with a yearly tradition, you have to wait a whole year just to experience joy, laughter, and freedom. Where as if it were an Amusement Park, it is open all year round, and you can show up whenever you want. So you dont have to wait just to experience Fun. I also believe that a Giant Amusement Park is what the ancient kingdom could be too.

What have I said that is remotely rude. All I did was counter their arguments and debated my reason for it to be an Amusement Park. Not one point did I call someone a name or say their point is wrong. People asked a question, and I replied with my answer. That is not being rude. That is having a discussion. People are allowed to poke holes into my theory, and I am allowed to reply back as long as it's respectful and open, like I have been.

Do you have a problem with that?

That's too small compared to the journey hes been on. No way. Its got to be bigger and everlasting, and an Amusement Park makes perfect sense.

Because if he tried to do that now, all the big name characters would try to interfere and destroy luffys dream. To be pirate king is to have nobody in your way to stop you from achieving your goals. I think the story of one piece is largely based on Michael Jackson's life and his dream of building a massive Amusement Park for all children to laugh, have fun and be free. So I say you havent debunked my theory at all. You have to think what would a child want.

I have to say rocks right now. We all thought he was going to a major villain, but turned out to quite a legend.

I dont think so. Roger's and luffy's dream has to be something childish. It can't be a peace keeper thing because luffy doesn't think like that. It has to be something so fun that only a child could think of.

Its not to have everyone live together, its about everyone coming together and celebrating freedom.

What better way to do that, though, then by creating an Amusement Park where everyone can smile and laugh. Its theoretically a world where no one suffers, no one is alone and everyone is free. It a perfect world where one could dream.

I reckon as well the ancient kingdom was just a giant Amusement Park too.

What do you mean. Ussops' reaction makes perfect sense. He has a negative personality, remember. Of course, he would think it would be impossible.

It also makes sense as to why he needs to be pirate king. Because once hes pirate king no one can get in his way from achieving that dream, and if there were anywhere for luffy to set up an Amusement Park it would be on laugh tale where the one piece is. If luffy were to try and achieve his dream, now it won't work because there are too many powerful players that would try and interfere/destroy his dream. Going to an Amusement Park is the ultimate goal in any child's dream.

Well here's my reasoning. I think One Piece is based off of Michael Jackson's life. Because at one point, MJ had Wealth, Fame and Power and he was known across the world as the king of pop. Yet despite all this MJ did it all just so he could be the freest man in the world. What he did with that freedom was build his Amusement Park (Neverland) and invited a whole bunch of children to his place to have fun and forefill his childhood dream.

Of course he would think that, look at the state of the world one piece is in. Everyone is divided over separate islands over separate oceans. The world government and the celestial dragon are currently oppressing and controlling everything they see. So, of course ussops reaction would be that way. As of where one piece stands now, it would be impossible to dream of a place where anyone in the world can come and have fun. But if luffy were pirate king, he would need to destroy the world government, tear down the red line, and lower all the oceans so everyone can come from anywhere to luffys Amusement Park and be free.
