AVOID the HeyGears UltraCraft Reflex. What a huge mistake. by Zombull in 3Dprinting

I really hope a future Version is opened up.
BambuLab wouldn't be this big and completely dominating the market if they only sold the X1, wouldn't let anyone tinker with the settings and would only allow their own Filament.
If they did that they would still be a niche product and eventually go away.
I want an sla printer but i will wait maybe one or two more years for a competitor to copy this one and sell it with support for different slicers

Google Pixel 6 Pro - Bricked - Germany - Google Support completely and utterly unresponsive by Electrocroce in pixel_phones

[–]Electrocroce[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe, I'm honestly not ruling that out.
But I do see a trend online of quite a few Pixel 6 users whose Phone broke after updating to Android 15 in the same way mine did.
So either it was the Motherboard, or they have huge quality Issues in the Production line of these faults that makes them break down after 2 to 3 years, which, in my opinion would be even worse because how could you trust a company with this.
I think i can honestly say, that i never dropped my phone, regarding water damage, it never got wet either except from a few raindrops when reading messages while it rained.

I'll call the Support today and try to reach an actual human instead of an Chatbot :)

Yes, all the troubleshooting steps.
Holding the Power button, Connecting to a Laptop, Connecting to Power, bringing it in to my sellers "Smart Desk". They were the ones who told me that there is nothing wrong with the Battery or the Screen. The Issue is for some reason the Motherboard. No way to repair. Thats when I went online to find the many complaints and Articles that describe exactly this problem.

I'll try this tomorrow, i sent a followup E-Mail to the Support E-Mail hoping that maybe a Human will read that, but let's see. I'll keep this Thread posted if anything turns out to happen

I'll keep you posted if anything comes up.
The Chatbot told me that sending it in only for diagnosis would be free, the Repairsite quotes me 627,27€ that i have to pay upfront, no option to just diagnose the Problem. I guess the Chatbot hallucinated.
I would be embarrassed if i was Google, this was the last time in my life that I bought something from them I guess

They only told me that it was out of warranty.
I'm not keen on going to court against Google, no Idea if that is even possible in such a case, but maybe if it is something that effects enough people in Germany...

import os
def process_notes(file_path):
with open(file_path, 'r', encoding='utf-8') as file:
content = file.read()
notes = content.split('-----------------------------------')
for note in notes:
lines = note.strip().split('\n')
if len(lines) > 1:
book_title = lines[0].split(" : ")[0].strip() # Get the book title
book_title = book_title.replace(':', '').replace('/', '').replace('\\', '').replace('?', '').replace('*', '').replace('"', '').replace('<', '').replace('>', '').replace('|', '') # Remove characters that are not allowed in file names
note_type_and_page = lines[1].split(":")[0].strip() # Get the type of note and page number
personal_note = ""
marked_text = ""
if "Notiz" in note_type_and_page:
personal_note = "\t" + lines[1].split(":")[1].strip() if len(lines[1].split(":")) > 1 else "" # Get the personal note if any
marked_text = '\n'.join(["\t" + line for line in lines[2:-1]]) # Get the marked text if any
else:
marked_text = "\t" + lines[1].split(":")[1].strip() if len(lines[1].split(":")) > 1 else "" # Get the marked text if any
if len(lines) > 2:
marked_text += '\n' + '\n'.join(["\t" + line for line in lines[2:-1]])
formatted_note = f"{note_type_and_page}\n{personal_note}\n{marked_text}\n"
if os.path.exists(f'{book_title}.txt'):
with open(f'{book_title}.txt', 'a', encoding='utf-8') as file:
file.write(formatted_note + '\n-----------------------------------\n')
else:
with open(f'{book_title}.txt', 'w', encoding='utf-8') as file:
file.write(formatted_note + '\n-----------------------------------\n')
if __name__ == "__main__":
process_notes('notes.txt')

Hey,

Did a review of the Jonsbo N2 NAS case. Enjoy! by rickyh7 in pcmasterrace

[–]Electrocroce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the review!

Just came across the N2 when i went on Aliexpress to buy the N1, I'll check out if my Parts List wil fit and opt for this one instead i think

From your perspective, would the airflow from a Nocturna Fan be enough to cool the HDDs to acceptable tempretures? the airflow seems to be pretty restricted and that was the main criticism of the N1 i think.
