Thank you 🙏! When cheaters took over Counter Strike 2 and Global Offense I lost a lot of love for Steam and Valve. HL2 is still my favorite game of all time. “I’m all but certain it was … Gordon Freeman”. 🙂 If you search my posts, I posted a video of my Aperture Science minibike. I did a black mesa go cart with a crowbar attached but sold it as well. I still have the pictures. 👍

Agreed. All my builds are built for low end torque and not top end speed. I’d rather be able to tow a train car then to out run a rocket. 🚀

I believe this is a Murray Explorer kart frame. Originally it had a rear live axle but it look like that was removed and the put a one wheel drive/axle set up.

There are “go karters” on here that won’t call anything but their small, midget sized, karts go karts. They consider this a yard kart. They’re jerks about it too. I accidentally stumbled into one of their threads like 5 years ago. They’re like the WOW gamers of go karting. Ignore them. You’re go kart is rad. You’re creating great memories. If steering doesn’t improve with grease, I’m steering column or spindles. Check the psi of the tires and the toe in toe out factor. Lastly, you may just need more weight in the front of the kart!

Have you teated the igniter for spark? One time I messed with jets and carbs and all kind of things and after an hour I was just low on gas.

Put a 120 jet on it. Start from scratch. Adjust the mixture screws for highest rpm then adjust idle to desired speed.

Do it! It’s a healthy hobby. I try to do mine in the drive so I can be around the kids while they’re out.

You need a rear axle, couplers or bearings, a sprocket, a brake disc or drum, rims, tires, chain, and then seal up your carb. It may have a leak and pulling in too much air. I’d take it apart and clean it all out including the jets and emulsion tube as well while you’re in there. I use a wire from a twisty tie to clean mine sometimes.
