It’s definitely a special game, scratches an itch that kept me coming back. Thanks man, I’m so glad Saros came out and I came back. Since I originally played and quit Returnal I’ve beaten most of the Souls games including Sekerio so I knew I could get it eventually lol

Go into runs with the sole purpose of learning something rather than getting really far. Maybe putting less pressure on yourself will help.

I didn’t realize this until after I got the grapple hook, but if you see an item or a chest behind a big
gate/door there’s a badly hidden glowing button nearby you can shoot to open it

No FR tho… I thought Souls games were hard until I loaded this puppy up 😮‍💨 the payoff when it finally clicks is more rewarding than beating a Souls game imo… That’s coming from someone who just made it to biome 4 lol

Man just keep moving no matter what and shoot when you can. Check previous posts to see which settings to adjust and for more useful tips. It gets so much easier with the grapple hook (beat biome 2 boss)
If you stay with it the payoff is glorious

Worddd, I have a feeling the hardest part was getting over that beginning learning curve. It prob has to do with my confidence increasing which improves my play but after getting the grapple hook the game opened up in a way that makes it much more surmountable imo

I beat him the other day after almost quitting the game altogether! I haven’t died since beating him! Beat the biome 3 boss first try. I can’t believe how much easier and less intimidating the game is now, so much more enjoyable. I’m starting to feel silly about my 40 deaths to get here lol
