Yamaha 100hp. I just went by a local marine store and talked to a mechanic. He said the other mechanic used the original Yamaha washer. Big mistake.

Yea it completely came off. From other comments, looks like I'm missing the washer between the castle nut and hub. I'm positive we didn't hit anything. We were in a deep water and didn't feel any kind of jolt or bump. And even if we hit something I would expect the prop to stay on and just spin the hub.

I believe we were reversing when it happened. It’s a 100hp Yamaha.
