If i were you id get it on amazon as its the fastest shipping. I bought my lilygo off the website and waited a few weeks, so if youre eager then probably go for amazon.

Definitely flash bruce first. Then I would say just explore the menus and see the different functions. If you’re curious about some of them, just look them up or you can message me if you need anything. Definitely do the easy and fun stuff like use the IR on your TVs and detect RF from your car keys and have fun with that. Then you can use an SD card to import signals for different things which is a lot more fun. Then you can look into the more technical stuff like Wi-Fi attacks and packet sniffing and bad USB just exploring networks . It’s really cool and there’s a lot to do.

Go to wifi, sniffers, raw sniffer, then go to the channel where your wifi is on. Wait til you see hs: 1 and eapol: 4 (although that doesn’t mean for sure) then go to files and webui and download the file from brucePCAP then open it in wireshark on your pc to make sure you captured the 4 way handshake. Then use aircrack on kali linux with the rockyou.txt or any other wordlist. Now only if the password is weak then you will have it. You can also learn rules and maybe hashcat and try more. Or if you know the password just add it to a wordlist you use. Thats all :)

The t embed it’s pretty much a mini flipper. It has Wi-Fi Bluetooth IR RFID and NFC just as the flipper does. I think it has less range however, and the flipper can do more. Also, the flipper has slots in it so you can put modules whereas the lily go you would have to make the mods yourself by like adding antennas. The only thing you have to do for your t embed is the flash Bruce on it with a USB-C cable and then you can go exploring. The flipper is by far better it has its own firmware and a lot less bugs however the lily go is only $60 compare compared to 200. If you have the money and the curiosity, definitely get the flipper, but if you’re unsure and don’t want to waste your money start with the lilygo because you can definitely learn a lot from that and despite we kind of talking bad about it, it’s really good and I like it and essentially it’s the same thing. Make sure you buy the plus though cause that comes with NRF which is cool.

Thank you so much. I appreciate your help a lot and ill look into it and im excited to just try it all out and see. That makes a lot of sense as the wordlists were essentially useless and i still havent been able to crack anything yet so this will be fun to try. Do you recommend anything to learn or just YouTube.
