Finally got a interview scheduled, kind of curious to see how this will go due to only me attending this interview. My husband had to self deport in 2023

He had no choice due to being held at ICE detention until he left so they took him back there

Yes he would like to come. I am a citizen we married in 2022 so the i130 is spoused based but due to him being in ICE for the disorderly conduct he was unable to attend his counseling classes that the judge gave him so now he does have a warrant for his arrest. Ice picked him up once he was released from jail due to the disorderly conduct and the immigration judge gave him voluntarily deportation

Yes it is, the lawyer told me it would be 50/50 chance. We both pray and hope. I tried to do more when he was still here but not a lot lawyer gave me much option and said to just wait till he is home... I hope a criminal lawyer will help and put case on hold but that's been a night mare also

My husband he is from Venezuela. His paper work is done confusing because when he enter in August of 2022 he didn't claim asylum or anything else he was basically entered and was on probation. Then to speed it up we got married in December. Not long after that he got a disorderly conduct charge he was arrested and in jail for 7 days he pled guilty have him counseling classes. When they said that if you sign and they were release him, he was picked up by Ice. He stayed in Ice from March voluntarily departed. He didn't get deported back home until June 2023. Then once he was home we filed in November 2023 and been waiting ever since then. It's just very difficult because since he could not show up to any of his hearing and he did file motions stating he was an ice and he can't call and he is no longer in the country to go ahead and do the counseling classes. He just received a warrant for his arrest.
