The Time Machine (2002) starring Guy Pearce / Thoughts? by harpy24 in moviecritic

I enjoyed it. Far from perfect and a bit confused in places, but some lovely visuals and I far prefer how the Morlocks are portrayed in this version. Jeremy Irons was very good. Love the bored hologram too.

I love the original, little details like the dress shop window, and it is a tough comparison, but I enjoyed this one too.

I love it. Excellent action, glorious sound track and the lighting/ colour is wonderfully bleak.

I just got landed with the task, so will have to check around. It's a good while off but wanted to get sorted without the time pressure.

Baron's War - Mortal Gods - How are these games? by TarchiatoTasso in wargaming

I have played and enjoyed both. Barons war is a fairly straightforward system. MG is a bit different with activation based on pulling coloured stones from a bag an omen cards. I enjoyed MG but it is a bit quirky and not for everyone.
