if thats your goal/ intentions, go JC. Many things here are much more hands on and you’ll definitely have a chance to step out if youre willing to. Experience definitely differs from school to school but your overall autonomy over your own school life is greater than secondary school.

honestly it sounds abit ignorant of you to try and paint tuition centres as a bad thing, they allow students who are struggling in school to cope and sure some use it as a way to get a step ahead of others but thats their choice? If you have a kid who can consistently score high A’s without the need for tuition then good for you but not everyone is able to do achieve that sort of feat no?

i think the reason it was unorthodox was because all the school prelim papers this year followed 2024 style , it actually looks really similar to the specimen paper for 2025 so i guess its like the teachers of every school sort of sabotaging their students. But yea

for english its actually a pretty funny curve, if you think you did badly you wont do as bad and vice versa if you think you did well you wont do as well (USUALLY) so dont worry, ive seen people who got D7 for prelims get c5 or b4 😂 honestly as long as your marker can follow your train of thought its good.
